WARNING! Do not stay here!! The room was nice and air conditioning worked but the owner is a jerk. Our toilet exploded and he tried to say we broke it so he would not have to give us any money back. We only used the toilet once and were gone all day. The toilet was not clogged and the hose from inside the back of the toilet broke. It was nothing we could have broken unless we lifted the back of the toilet and physically pulled something out.
At the time of the explosion, we explained the situation to the front desk lady (who is very sweet) and she came up to witness it herself. There was nothing she could do. So, we asked her for some towels and cleaning supplies, but it was midnight and she did not have access to these items. She also said that she could not speak to the owner because he was asleep and we could not get the toilet fixed until the next day and she could not refund us any money. Only the owner could.
So, we used towels and our own soap to clean the mess ourselves and had to fix the toilet. It was disgusting. But we did it without any complaints and told the lady at the front desk we would just talk to him in the morning.
On the morning, we said hello and tried to explained the situation as calmly as possible. Before we spoke two sentences, yelled at us and ran upstairs screaming "you. broke the toilet!" without even letting us say anything past the toilet is broken in our room. We tried our best to be respectful. This was difficult, but we decided not to argue.
Bottom line, stay here at your own risk. There are plenty of other places to stay on this road. It's not worth it in our opinion.

Good restaurant with piles of food. I didn't stay here.
I read some of the other reviews and I agree. I went here with a friend for the food alone and I was surprised with how much food we got. I definitely wasn't hungry when I left. The Thai lady was friendly anf helpful. I'll be back for the food. We paid 140 Baht each for the food & a large beer

We didn't stay here, but we had food at the restaurant a couple of times. The BEST pancakes I've had in a long time, and for only 60bhat. So cheap, but you get so much (and proper maple syrup) and it's honestly delicious. We also had the full breakfast for 60bhat which was also very tasty, with proper bacon!
The waitress/chef is lovely and helpful, and there's a big range of food. Delicious!

Pretty cool place, 700bht for a room with 3 beds

It has a restaurant in it and is pretty clean with a fridge and AC (though the ac wasn't the best, it was still there)
The room isn't suuuper clean, but I've definitely stayed in worse
The wifi was pretty awful though, there's 3 different ones to try to help with this issue.. but all 3 of us found that none of them really work. We ended up just going to nearby restaurants and getting their wifi instead

Best place for American breakfast. Also best priced in the old city.

Best restaurant for a casual meal in the area. The prices are very reasonable and the portions MUCH larger than other places. The owner is extremely nice and always goes the extra mile to please. The menu is varied and there's even Wifi if you want to hang out. Can't recommend this place enough, especially when compared to all the overpriced restaurants in the area.

Okay for a decent room with aircon for 500B. Simple, but includes toilet paper, couple of little soaps, hot shower, good aircon, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast next door in the morning.
