The hotel is within walking distance of the entertainment clubs, restaurants and bars of Patong Bay. Located on a rocky slope with a large elevation difference that can be an obstacle for the elderly and children. Frequent tides kompensiruet free Shuttle service to Kata beach. Recommend for young people and couples without children.

Beautiful views & great service
We are staying at Amari Phuket Resort and having a really good experience overall. The resort has one of the best locations in Patong — close enough to the main beach and shops, yet far enough to feel peaceful and private.
The staff is
very polite, friendly, and always ready to help — from check-in to buggy service, everything was smooth. The breakfast spread was excellent, with a huge variety and a lovely sea view while dining.
Even all the in-house restaurant are awesome.
La Gritta italian restaurant has amazing food plus view to die for.
Don't miss this resort .. recommend to everyone

We stayed in the suites at Amari for a family celebration and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Everything about the hotel from the views to the food and hospitality was great.
A special mention and heartfelt thanks to Betty, the manager, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us such a warm welcome and took extra care to ensure we were comfortable, especially since we were travelling with two infants.
Thank you, Betty, and the entire Amari Phuket team, for making our family celebration so special.

Had an amazing stay at Amari Phuket! The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday memorable, from the free room upgrade to the lovely birthday decoration and delicious cake. The hospitality, view, and overall experience were exceptional. Truly appreciate the warm service and attention to detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway 🫶🏻

feel abit cheated from the online photo, turns out one of the pool area is for club members only where you can only use it when you reserved a more expensive room. I guess if we were informed in advance we might have opt to select it. The room is very damped and had a weird smell. The air con need to be constantly blowing at high blast to make it less moist, else the room will be super humid. Lobby is amazing, beautiful, but when you enter the room, it suddenly feels so underwhelm. For the price, i don’t think it’d worth it. Spa is bad as well, 1 of the bfast restaurant female staff is rude. Do not recommend this place for the price.

Just got back from Amari Phuket and honestly, mixed feelings.
The property itself is stunning. The views are amazing, the setting is beautiful and the Rim Talay restaurant has a nice breakfast spread. That’s where the positives end.
Hospitality is 0/10. Housekeeping staff were flat-out rude. At Rim Talay, even though the food was good, the staff had no sense of warmth or basic courtesy. No staff at the pool, no staff at the beach. You are basically on your own. The buggy service was also painfully slow every single time.
It is such a shame because the property is gorgeous but the service experience completely ruined it. I would not go back.

Good location and beautiful views but the staff behaviour and the service for the charges taken were definitely not worth it. While some of the staff were polite several of the staff members need training regarding basic courtesy in dealing with guests, especially people at reception. Thinly veiled sarcastic and dismissive comments when the guests are making basic inquiries really ruins the mood. Also the amount of money we were charged was way too much for service, the size of the rooms and the general amenities provided compared to other hotels we've stayed in. Food could be better.

My experience at Amari Hotel was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had.
The problems began with a prolonged and unnecessarily complicated check-in process. While I understand there was an issue with our reservation, the solution offered was far from ideal and lacked flexibility or proper customer care.
The room size was shockingly small—far smaller than what one would expect for the price and rating of the hotel.
One of the most frustrating aspects was the shuttle club car service between the lobby and the rooms. The wait times were excessively long, and there was no clear or fair system in place to determine the order of service. On multiple occasions, we noticed that other families—often of different nationalities—were prioritized, even when we had arrived first. We raised these concerns with both the security personnel and the employee coordinating the transfers, but disappointingly, nothing was done, and no feedback or follow-up was provided.
The pools were extremely small, especially in comparison to similar hotels, and the breakfast was both limited in variety and poor in quality.
Frankly, I don’t understand the high ratings and recommendations this hotel receives. Aside from the convenient location, none of the services met our expectations.
Lastly, while the checkout process was relatively quick, it was not handled professionally. No one asked about our experience or if we enjoyed our stay, which felt dismissive and showed a lack of interest in guest satisfaction.
In summary, this stay was deeply disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to others. It is not worth the price

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!
We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff Ms. Jubjib made us feel incredibly welcome and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Check-in was smooth, and she happily answered all of our questions with a smile.
The entire staff was amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. It really made a difference in our overall experience.
The food was another highlight. We enjoyed every meal we had at the hotel—delicious, fresh, and with plenty of variety. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, everything was well-prepared and flavorful.
Overall, this was a truly enjoyable stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

This Resort is perched on the headland just south of Patong Beach the views are superb but these views come at a cost: steep land. Be prepared to use shuttles to travel around the resort. This worked fine for us being a family of four with two small children.
We enjoyed five nights in a two-bedroom Ocean View Villa. The room was excellent being clean and tidy with superb views.
We dined at both the Thai and Italian restaurants. Both offered excellent food and we particularly enjoyed the degastation menu with paired wines at the Italian restaurant. We also used room service dining which we ordered using an app. The food arrived within 30 minutes and was beautifully arranged on our dining table.
One morning we had a 6:30 a.m. pickup for a day out on a boat. The resort provided breakfast Hampers and towels and a wake up call. We found the service throughout our stay to be excellent.
As ONYX members we enjoyed 10% discount on all food and Beverage as well as other services such as spa. We also had free use of snacks and mini bar in the room as well as cash to spend in the resort. On arrival the staff clearly pointed out all of the benefits of our membership.
On the whole our experience was very positive and we would return again.
