Outrageous rip-off - Never again this hotel!

I am appalled by the incredibly poor service and the brazen rip-off at this hotel! When booking, our number of people was accidentally reduced. We contacted them by email to clarify the matter and received a reassuring reply that this was not a problem. We also received the check-in information without any problems - everything seemed to be sorted.

But the nasty surprise came on arrival: Suddenly we were supposed to pay an extra 21,000 baht for four nights! Originally, the total price for our stay was 11,000 baht - a fair and clearly agreed price. Instead of understanding or goodwill, we only got empty excuses and arrogant behaviour from the hotel staff. We were given no choice but to pay the horrendous additional costs, otherwise we would not have been able to check in.

The hotel's behaviour is simply outrageous and highly dubious. Our stay was spoilt right from the start. I can only strongly advise anyone not to book here - you are ripped off as soon as you arrive! This experience turned what should have been a relaxing holiday into a nightmare. Hands off this hotel!

The hotel has a convenient location, but the experience was disappointing. T

he building is outdated and didn't match online photos. There was no help with luggage, and we had to carry bags up stairs after the elevator only went partway. Room service was unavailable, and communication was difficult. The night staff was especially rude, and during checkout, they accused us of taking a towel, which felt like retaliation after we requested help. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here—poor service made it an unpleasant experience.

Very rude front desk staff. I booked through a 3rd party and already paid online yet they wanted to charge me extra for the room. A deposit is standard but I was told the extra fee is to “prepare the room” and I must still pay a deposit. 10/10 bad experience.

In my whole life, I have not met a hotel employee who treats customers in this very, very, very bad way ... I advise everyone not to expose themselves to a bad experience in this hotel..

Location was great, right at the beach and good services just at the entrance. (7/11 and weed shop etc).

The hotel itself is very dated, I had a premiere room which is mid range and the beds were solid which didn't make for the best sleep. They charge you 500 thb for a "extra" person to stay and they take 1000 the as a deposit for the room. Which doesn't start the stay off in the best way.

I wouldn't stay here again if I return.

I rarely share negative reviews since I always try to see things positively or inform myself very well to be aware of what to expect. Unfortunately, I can’t say many positive things about the Rayaburi Hotel. The only reason to choose this hotel is SOLELY because of the location. That's it. The rooms are as expected, old, but not only did my room not have a window, so I felt like I was in a prison during my stay. Also, cold water for the shower didn’t work. The AC is very loud. On the floors, it smells like weed indeed. But the worst for me during this stay was definitely the reception staff. I have never met such unmotivated, a mix of arrogant and careless staff in Thailand. During my one-week stay, only one staff member greeted me once when I walked by. Rooms are only cleaned upon request. I spontaneously decided to stay in Phuket one week longer, but I decided to change the hotel. The location and the unfriendly staff were not worth it for me. I would rather add some thousand baht to be treated as a guest. I'm sorry to say, but for this price, you can definitely find better hotels in Phuket. I highly recommend not booking this place.

Don’t make the mistake of staying here. There’s way better hotels available in Patong for the same, if not better price. The rooms were old, worn out, and musty. The air was stuffy and there were no windows. The room was dimly lit at all times. The hot water stopped working after our first night there. Staff were friendly enough, but didn’t actually do anything to help fix problems.

Don't be fooled by the pictures it looks nothing like that. The staff are lazy and bo help at all. We ordered a balcony but didn't get one and when I ask to change they said they was full which was a lie. The pool is not in the same building. When you finally get to it its very small and got screws sticking out of the ground. It's not got a jacuzzi that's another lie. Avoid bringing kids the rooms are not soundproof. Avoid at all cost
