Alyon Hotel Taksim

The worst hotel I' ve been by far. Dirty rooms. Bad service. The building is poorly designed and very old. I couldn't have a solid rest there( mattresses were very uncomfortable).

It’s in a good location near Itiklad street, but very expensive for what it offers! The rooms are in a bad shape, no refrigerator, the floor is wobbling and coming apart, and lacs the basics.

Horrible place to stay in ... Very bad rooms, you can hear noise and fights in the middle of the night, the reception guy asked for tips and wanted much more than given to him (asking it in rude way), very small bath room and elevator can carry only one person and was not working

It was the worst night of my life

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my entire life , bad rooms , bad services , bad bathrooms, the shower hose was leaking and the water is weak, it’s hard to get warm water, no glasses no cups no tea or coffee, the tv is not working, no toilet paper ‘can you imagine!’ The experience was really disaster , please be careful!

Worst experience ever. Staff lying, doesn't speak English, tries to take more money, cleaning women is robber she took my rings and golden bracelet and another cleaner guy wanted to fight with me! They don't clean rooms, TV doesn't work, no service, paper, towels, lights very small, bad small and dirty as hell!!

We stayed in this hotel for 1 week two years ago. Very small rooms that did not have any windows facing outside. The hotel breakfast was served from 10 o'clock onwards. We did not have breakfast at all. All photos are fake. There was a bad smell in all the corridors. The only advantage of this hotel is its proximity to Taksim Square. I do not recommend this hotel in any way.

This review is based on my experience and stay in Alyon Hotel Taskim between 23/12/2021 till 26/12/2021.

Location : The actual location of hotel near Taskim square and just 30 meter from istiklal street, which is the only merit this hotel owns. However it’s very difficult to find the actual location and signages provided was difficult to find.

Hotel elevations : Very poor From first look and paints peeled off including plastering.

Reception and Lobby : it’s too small and congested and some steps to climb to reach the desk. It’s very hard while with luggage bags. No personal available to open and close the main door, made of metal. It’s very annoying always bad smells like Urine in the reception and entrance door.

Staff : Met three out of four front desk staff speaks English and very energetic to arrange PCR tests.

Toilet no safe : No safe locker or common restrooms available in the lobby, so try to finish all before check out.
Vertical transport : Hardly two or maximum three personal. If one with luggage then would a lot .
Corridors : Feels cleaned through out the stay , however the light sensor timing could have extend little more; might end up with dark usually.

Rooms : Typically small rooms, no safe, tooth paste, brushes, no proper window curtains, no bed lamps ( installed ones not working), no tea bags, coffee powder, sugar bags, no mini fridge. They put two of 100 ml water bottle only for curtsey, won’t give unless asked.

WiFi : No wifi coverage inside room. It’s not required, the typical telephone operators provide wide amount of data as welcome kit.

Food : No breakfast available in hotel neither other. Usually the cost of breakfasts outside is much cheaper and my opinion is always take breakfast separate while booking any rooms in Istanbul.

The elevator doesn't work they are focusing on the money zero a smiling face and disrespectful staff, the room phones don't work when you are looking for don't reply even mobile phone reception! The building smells of garbage!!!!! We gave a waste of money!!!!
