☕️The breakfast was very nice, with a wide selection of delicious options However, I would have liked a few more sweet choices. (A piece of cake would be great with my tea )The breakfast area itself was lovely, with a beautiful view of Bosporus. Cleanliness was generally good.
🛌As for the room, it was new and comfortable, with a nice king size bed. However, the room had a low ceiling, which felt a bit cramped, especially since the room itself was small in size. When rooms are that small, a lower ceiling doesn’t help with the overall feeling of space. There wasn’t much room for clothes 🧣👖either, as the only wardrobe available was very small and didn’t fit much. The soundproofing in the room wasn’t great ,I could hear noise from outside and nearby rooms as my room was next to the elevator.
One major downside was that the spa wasn’t included in the price, which I found disappointing. 🧖♀️
The location is really good. Sultanahmet Square is a 10-minute uphill walk. On the plus side, there’s a local market nearby with good prices that’s worth visiting.
🥘There’s a great restaurant just across from the hotel, offering delicious local cuisine, a beautiful view, and reasonable prices.
The service was decent overall, although I was a bit disappointed. I mentioned it was my birthday, but they didn’t offer any complimentary drink or gesture, which I’ve experienced in other hotels. That being said, the staff was polite and helpful, offering good recommendations on what to see in the area.
The breakfast was also included despite it being insanely cheap already and it was very good.
5 stars deserved.
Opening the window didn’t help either, as dust from the busy street came straight into the room. The window was at sidewalk level, and constant traffic brought noise and dirt. Breakfast was not included in the €83/day rate, and prices at the hotel restaurant were three times higher than in the city. After five days, we left, losing half of the money we paid for the ten-day booking.
I do not recommend this hotel!
