Pell Palace Hotel & SPA

This hotel is below average. The images made me think it would be a 4 star but in reality it’s a 3. I booked a deluxe double which turned out to be the size of my little toe. It’s on a super busy and shabby road. The walls of the rooms are so thin you can hear everyone and everything. The hotel advertises itself as a ‘spa’ but there is no pool just a sauna and Turkish bath- both which are absolutely tiny and you can only use if you book a treatment. The images on the website say they have a pool which they don’t. They also don’t have irons in the room. I had to call up reception everyday asking for the iron. The breakfast is absolutely awful and comprises of egg and onion rings followed by various salads. I’ve had better breakfast in McDonald not to mention the breakfast is the same everyday and hardly a buffet. The only good thing about the hotel is the location as it’s close to tourist attractions. I regret staying here and wish I had booked something more relaxing and comfortable. I asked the hotel to book me a cab to the airport and they told me they only take euros and it would cost 40 euros. A complete con because a normal taxi costs about 20 euros/£15. These guys are definitely out to make money from you. Ended up using my Uber app instead. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff in the reception are so good and the hotel is close to the bazar and market. That is way there is so terrific especially on morning. The breakfast is not so good comparing to other places and it is almost same for all days. The room was good but there is no isolation and you can hear sound coming from corridor, street and other rooms. For water, they provide for first day only and other days they didn’t provide it as we understand at the end they just provide it for first day only.
