The mosque is beautiful. Located next to the water and scenery behind was the stunning bridge. I have been wanting to see this mosque for a long long time and finally I got to see it with my own eye. Only the day I visited was too many crowded. The best time to visit this mosque must be in the early morning.

I fell in love with this place—the mosque offers a cozy and intimate atmosphere, nestled in a breathtaking location. Its rich history and impressive architecture added to its charm. The inclusion of a women's section made it even more accommodating. After spending the afternoon exploring the area, we concluded our visit with a prayer at this mosque, which enhanced our overall experience

If you don't find a bench to sit on, you will get bored and leave or take a tour around in the area. There are many small shops that sells ice-cream and kumpir.

This is very famous place for tourists (you can take amazing photos near this mosque). It is closed to visitors during prayer times. Pretty crowded. There are a lot of cafes around it so you can enjoy the view. Highly recommended 🌸🌸🌸🌸

This mosque is situated in a vibrant neighborhood right by the sea shore, next to the ferry port. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Bosphorus River, the Bosphorus Bridge, and lots of seagulls. Don't forget to look at the water and admire the jellyfish. Locals gather here in the evening, and many people sing songs and play music. There are plenty of fine dining restaurants and reasonable food carts around, so you can pick whatever you like. Don't miss taking a walk around the nearby neighborhood called Besiktas.

Beautiful area. You can see the mosque sitting next to the waters. The mosque is small in size but the area is just beautiful. There are many restaurants and a few coffee shops in the area some of which are overlooking the water.

Ortakoy mosque was built on the order of Abdulmecid in the 1800s at the waterside of the Ortakoy pier square. It is one of the most popular locations on the Bosporus l.
I recommend going after sunset. The masjid is beautifully illuminated and very eye-catching.
You will find a lot of ice cream and fruit salads on your way to the mosque. You can buy the food and enjoy sitting on the bank of Bosporus.
