Mangana Konak Hotel

They have this lovely maid called serpet she was a sweetheart and was very through with her cleaning she was spotless I totally enjoyed her service and polite interactions

I changed several hotels and this one feels the best and most affordable. The owner also provides good service. Some of the electrical appliances are a bit old, but it is acceptable.

It was a wonderful experiance to stay at the Mangana Konak Hotel in Istanbul, just a few minutes by foot to Istanbuls main attractions! The Air conditioning in the hotel room was amazing in a hot country like Turkey. The staff were very respectful, polite and would listen to any of our requests such as an extra blanket in the room. The breakfast was also delicious and has everything you need to start your day. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable, I would definately visit this hotel again.

The view of the dining hall is perfect, you have a complete scene next to the gulf.
The staff is so nice and helpful.
The chef (Ms. Sabur) is a very respectful lady and so friendly, she makes very delicious handmade cookies.
Do not forget to feed those always-hungry birds next to the window 🥹😁

Great location, great staff

The service was excellent! The staff was accommodating and maintained at every step by request! Semih is a great person; thank you very much! He is open-minded and responsive! He helped me get to the nearest cafe on his bike. Breakfast was good (nuts, yogurt, fruits, dried fruits, buns, etc.). The room was clean. By the way, it was a room with a Bosphorus view!

This old Hotel is situated in the Old Town, where all the fun is at, so you'll always be within reach of your favourite eating place or Hagia Sofia.
The rooms are BIG by Istanbul Old Center unwritten standards, the sheets were clean, the wifi was working.

But there are issues: the rooms are old, not well maintained and in dear need of a refurbishment. If it helps in any way, the current furniture was of good quality, back in their days. That is the main con of this place.
But it's also a Pro, if you consider the price and location.

The Staff is nice and helpful. During our visit there was a problem on the street with the electricity and they had the generator working non-stop.
One of the rooms was very noisy as a result - we did not accept it and they changed it to another, facing the alley, which resolved the issue.

As a note, it's possible that due to the
street being so narrow, my car got scratched but I can't hold this against the accommodation itself. So heads up, mind your parking. On the other hand, it's also possible that the car got scratched in some other place (Istanbul is... Istanbul) and I haven't noticed it. :)

Hotel well located, clean rooms and enough facilities.
Breakfast with a great views to Bosforo and blue mosque. Friendly staff. Specially grateful to Sabir, very attentive at breakfast
