The place is great! We love it!!
Nice building in the center. The room is super clean and everything smells wonderful! (For me very important). The staff is very helpful. We asked for extra pillows and we had them immediately. There is a little fridge in the room and the air condition is working properly. Breakfast on the terrace. It is a solid 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ accordingly to the reasonable price.
There is no elevator but this is not important for us.

Great location. Walk to everything. Blue mosque is 5 min walk. Sophia Hagia and the grand bazaar and the waterfront! Breakfast is 5 star ! Everything is fresh - the olives, the Turkish are expert cheese makers, the tomatoes taste fresh - vine ripened. The food is all prepared fresh. The pride in the food is next level. This is a 3-star hotel price but 5-star breakfast! They will make you a real Turkish coffee with the little pot on the stove! That’s service✔️Thank you to my friend fm USA - who recommended this sweet little hotel - best location 🇹🇷

5 🌟 location wise.
While my family room was very average, I for a short stop over, the hotel was perfect as it's just 2 mins from the blue mosque 🕌 💙.
The breakfast is also basic, yet the view from the balcony was again priceless 👌
While there were no wheelchair friendly access and no lift, I understood this was and is an old town and hence it is what it is...
Location location location- easy access to the key tourist destinations in the old town..
What surpised me the most was old antiques - the 17th century 📻 🎙 in the breakfast room, the old 🌎 🌎- a mixed of all emotions.. that is Tuekmen hotel!

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning. Reception staff wanted to provide us with early check-in, but we had to wait in the lobby because there were no empty rooms. Then a man checked out, and after that, cleaning staff came to work. So we can finally do early check-in and enter a room. We are very grateful to the reception staff. But unfortunately 1 bed of 2 single bed was not cleaned at all. We were 100% sure of this. Because We found short hairs in the bedding, and bed sheet was completely different condition than the other bed. That's why we thought the cleaning time was too short when we checked-in...!!
Even excluding these experiences, I don't think this place is worth the price. (Paid 58USD on Friday) We had already experienced a weekend stay at another hotel nearby. This place was only 2USD cheaper, but is so bad in many ways. I don't mind that hotel's buildings and facilities are old. That's not important to me. But I thought this hotel was not a professional hotel at all. The cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen have same problem. (But I'm very very grateful for the help of the young staff working at the reception late in the evening and early in the morning.) In conclusion, the price is not reasonable at all.

This is the fourth time I stayed at this hotel. The location is central, beds comfortable and service friendly. The breakfast on the top floor is fresh and authentic. Coffee and tea is available for you to brew any time.
Overlooking the blue mosque this is a very central and safe place even for a lone female traveler.
The place does not have an elevator and the hotel is very basic. They will keep your luggage. Arrange a shuttle to the airport for $40.

It is a typical two stars hotel and rating.. If you book early the manager will raise the value once you arrive with silly excuse. the room service housekeepers and the cafeteria lady are very good. We took the breakfast the first day and then stop going due to the poor dishes and dangerous stairs since there is no elevator to the terrace. There is absolutely no tea or coffee after breakfast time. The location is good

- We booked a room for 10 days but we stay only 2 ( we changed the room for the seconde day because the bathroom wasn't comfortable, the second room was worst than the first: mold , leak in the bathroom, bad smell )

I have booked for 4 nights but it is more of a hostel than hotel, suitable for solo travellers and strictly not for families. I immediately left the hotel after 2 hours stay.

We stayed at the Turkoman for four nights on the recommendation of a friend. The room was basic but had everything we needed, including excellent air conditioning (a must!).
The view from the top floor balcony is stunning! We had breakfast there every day and enjoyed the view of the Blue Mosque and the sea. Breakfast is included with the booking and is simple and filling.
The location is excellent - walking distance from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, hammams, restaurants, and shops.
Finally, the staff were excellent and so helpful. The woman in charge of breakfast was very kind. A special thank you to the manager Rifat! He answered our questions and gave recommendations and really went above and beyond. I needed to change some details of my booking with the airline and he helped call various offices until we finally got in contact with someone, then wrote down directions for me and lent me an Istanbulkart to use on public transportation. Thank you Rifat!!
They also arranged our pickup and dropoff to Istanbul airport for a fair price, which was very helpful.
