Great location close to many restaurants and the sea front. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast in the cafe that joins the hotel. The room was very clean with a nice bathroom and comfy bed. Good WiFi. This hotel is ideal for one or a few nights to visit Izmir.

If you ever go to Izmir I suggest you stay in this wonderful hotel. First of all I want to thank Tugrul Harmanu ( hope I spelt it right ) he checked us in and out quickly and efficiently and gave us a 2nd floor room. As I am quite a light sleeper it was rather noisy so the next day I asked if it was possible to change room. Tugrul assigned us another room without delay on the 6th floor. Perfect. He was obliging, professional and kind hopefully his boss will read this!!! The room was comfortable, had everything we needed, bed good, shower great and the fact that complimentary water was replenished everyday was fantastic. Breakfast had a choice of sweet and savoury so something for everybody. Staff were always helpful if you needed anything or wanted information. Thank you again

We had a very good experience in Hay Hotel. The reception and staff very welcoming, kind and friendly. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and air conditioner works perfectly which is especially important in hot summer days in Izmir. Breakfast was also good with variety of choices

The rooms are smaller than you would think, the staff are very helpful for the most part and the location is great. The management is very poor and will rip you off any chance they get. We did two rounds of laundry (about one American sized load) and the bill was $163.00 (USD)!! I thought it was a mistake so I asked and it was not a mistake. They told me it was my fault that I didn’t see the price sheet in the room, which was placed in a closet and had fallen to where we couldn’t see it.
I have never paid that much for laundry anywhere in the world. We switched hotels and stayed down the road and I did MORE laundry and it only cost me $30. Both places outsourced their laundry.
The management wouldn’t speak to me directly at this hotel and even the staff was frustrated by how the manager handled it.
RENTER BEWARE! Make sure you ask if there is a price on anything before you use it.
Whoever made the decisions should be ashamed of themselves and is a VERY dishonorable person.

Good hotel, will give more than 3 stars. Clean rooms,no smell, comfortable bed and pillows, quiet aircon . Location is good as well , but a bit noisy from outside. Irish pub just next door. Friendly staff. Missing only swimming pool on the rooftop).

Thanks for the honeymoon service. Staff are great and friendly. However, there are some improvements can be taken into consideration.
1. The lobby and ground floor elevator is not easy to acces for luggage. There's no ramp. Customer need to carry the luggage by 2~3 staircases.
2. The hotel is near the nightlife area, but the window is not soundproofed. Noise from the street can be heard.
3. During our stay, we can smell the cigarette smell. Not sure if the smell is coming from outside the street or from other guest room.

The rooms are clean, relaxing and well equipped in terms of technology. I think location is great; you can almost go to the every great restaurant, cafe and cultural centres by foot. Also, the staff is so friendly, especially Şehsuvar, who treated with such kindness and attention. I would definitely consider staying again if I visit Izmir in the future.

The welcome is very good, it can be seen from the atmosphere of the room that it is clean. also room service etc. fast. It is in a very easily accessible location without a car.
