L'Agora Old Town Hotel & Bazaar

During our recent stay at this hotel, situated right in the lively bazaar, I was pleasantly surprised by the charm and comfort it offered. The hotel is a real gem, perfectly integrated into the surroundings.

The hotel itself is clean, and the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The service was excellent, with the staff being friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The restaurant with its terrace provides a lovely ambiance, perfect for both breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was tasty and varied, and the dinner did not disappoint either.

All in all, the room price definitely offers value for money. This hotel is highly recommended for anyone seeking a combination of comfort, great service, and a unique location in the heart of the bazaar.

We have gone there because of the restaurant, we had an amazing time and the atmosphere was good, because we were a group of 5+ people they keep us on the up side of the place and the waitress was not attentive to our table, while all the middle tables were having 4 persons to give the services

One of my favorite places to go in Izmir. I recommend going after 8 pm because that’s when the live music starts. The staff has always went above and beyond.

Staff is very friendly. Live music from 8 to 11pm. An ambience of magic old bazaar in the morning transforms into a romantic dining at night. Our room was upstairs and we could observe all of this from the balcony

We booked this hotel for a 13-night stay during our holiday in Izmir and were not disappointed at all. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful from the very first moment - they were kind enough to upgrade our room to a triple room due to our long stay.

The building has authentic and beautiful architecture - the room was very spacious and clean.

There is a restaurant that does not belong to the hotel but works together with the hotel. The staff of the restaurant were very kind and welcoming everytime - special thanks to Süleyman, Ilyas & Serkan for their hospitality and service.

The only negative part is the fact that the hotel is situated within the Kemeraltı Bazaar which gets too dark all of the sudden as soon as the sellers close their stores - it does not feel safe to walk in the district after 20:30.

The hotel is located near the main bazaar area of the city. There is a large atrium at the hotel which has live music until the night - it does get rather loud while the music is on so sleep may get impacted if you're an early sleeper. Otherwise the atmosphere is really nice. The breakfast is decent with good vegetarian choices - I really liked the simit here. The service overall is good.

Such a gem that feels like a hidden oasis. Amazing warm welcoming people. Great facilities and fabulous rooms. The live music and courtyard restaurant are unique. Instant access to the bazaar in the daytime.
