This hotel is on the mountain top and their sea view rooms have exceptional breath taking view of the Black Sea. Our check in experience was not great and have to wait for an hour even though we arrived at check in time 14:00. The reservation just didn’t care about me standing in front of them they just kept doing their work without even saying hi or telling for wait a minute. One doesn’t expect such attitude from 5 star hotel staff. The sea view room was exceptional as was the daily breakfast. You may find excellent lady Beyza Şahin at the information table looking after private tours (NERGIS 61) they have fantastic drivers who can take you around Trabzon, Ayder and Uzungöl at the good price. To note there are no eateries around this hotel and the walk is around steep hill area. You will always need a taxi or private car to take you to Meydan(the city center).

First time in trabzon, we arrived at 6:30 pm after 4 hours road trip finding our room is not ready. We asked for connected rooms and they said it’s not available. The receptionist was not welcoming us much although the other guy was supportive and trying to please us (Camet Can).

This place was good I enjoyed it a lot but the thing that made me the happy the most was “onur ozaksu” he went above and beyond to make sure that the food that we got was satisfying and made sure that the service was amazing to any American going to turkey ask for onur ozaksu he will be in the restaurant area he will make sure that you enjoy the stay thanks to all the staff and thanks for a great vacation/ honeymoon stay

Amazing hotel. Staff were good. Lactation is fantastic. Service doesn’t really answer fast. Food was good but same food everyday. Staff doesn’t really speak English well. Sea view room is recommended for 3 people. The room officially has 2 rooms but you can ask receptionist for extra bed that they will make using the sofa. Internet is very good. You just need to add room number and last name in booking.

Air conditioning doesn't cool properly and only manages 25.5 degrees. TV doesn't work. Breakfast egg dishes cost extra. Staff are incredibly disinterested and slow. Despite repeated reminders, we didn't receive the drinks we ordered after 40 minutes. Outdoor pool closed. The hotel is located outside on a hill and without a taxi you're stuck. The only thing that's great is the view.

My stay at the hotel was for 7 days, a beautiful hotel and all the staff are nice and dedicated to their work, especially Esranur at the reception, Kenan in the restaurant, Laila in the café and everyone. Thank you very much.

Perfect location, close enough to downtown to walk but away from hustle and bustle. Walking distance to monastery, amazing views and awesome sunset. Pay a bit more for the ocean view. Definitely worth it! Nice indoor pool and cute tea place right next door with fresh Turkish tea

Good hotel but not like 5 stars one !
Posive points: sea view, close to city center, clean, not crowded during April and the Gym is perfect and clean.
Negative points: fridge and TV are not working, swimming pool is too cold AND THE WORST POINT that the milk mixed with water in Breakfast Bufe 😡😡 we got so mad from this point and decided not to choose this hotel again !

Radisson Trabzon is an absolute standout! Its location offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, making every moment extraordinary. The front desk personnel were attentive and accommodating, ensuring a seamless stay. The breakfast spread was delightful, catering to various tastes. The hotel's overall appeal, stylish decor, and expansive lobby exuded sophistication. The spa facilities were exceptional, and the pool area was a perfect spot to unwind. A remarkable stay with all the luxuries one could wish for in Trabzon!

I’m not sure how this is a 5-star hotel, all their services and amenities are average. They match a 3-star hotel compared to other countries.
Pros:
Clean rooms and good food.
Great view and scenery from the balcony.
There is a good attraction nearby.
Cons:
Since it’s on top of the city, very hard to walk to anywhere and not walking distance to most places.
Poor English or Arabic language staff.
Swimming pool is not heated.
Small rooms and bathrooms.
Over all good, but not worth the price and 5-stars. Nothing special about it.
