The Marriott slogan is brand excellence for customers but behind the scenes the managers in place treat employees with disrespect, rude behavior and poor communication. Even their contract employees like their valet service (Towne Park) they talk down to the employees.
Eyewitness saw an employee getting their life threatened by one of The vendors from US foods and the man reported the incident and the hotel did nothing and the hotel Management asked the man who worked for the valet company not to come back to the property. All because he reported that his life was being threatened. There were witnesses that witnessed and cameras around but there was no serious action taking about this matter and this is happening at this property on several occasions. So don't be fooled by the great customer service you get as a guest because the people serving you get treated like second and third class citizens. The general manager David is extremely rude. He will treat the guests like a first class Customer, but the people who were under him to make him look good and takes nothing serious. It's all about politics. The customer services only to get your money. So the next time you see a valet or someone from the hotel staff ask them are they okay and they're probably not?.
The Self Park was easy to use and worth the $45 for the overnight( husband flying out I was sleeping in).
Room was clean & bed was comfortable. check-in staff friendly, quick and efficient.
Only negative was stained carpet in the room. It would have gotten five star for rooms if lvp tile replaced carpet for a bit nicer more sanitary 🤔
AND
Shout out to the chef who made the American breakfast delivered via room service. The American breakfast wedge potato was the best I have ever tasted as the seasoning was perfect and eggs were over medium exactly.
The only complaint is that breakfast at the lounge was until 10, we arrived at 9 and they had run out of fruits and most bread and pastries. I had to asked for a cereal to the attendant, she open a cabinet gave me one but never restocked.
I am hopeful that eventually the concierge lounge opens in the weekend.
