Crowne Plaza Atlanta - Midtown, an IHG Hotel

I’ve stayed at Motel 6 and Best Western, and they’re 10 times better for half the price. First, let me say the interior is pretty nice and very clean. However, the room is missing some major amenities—there’s no microwave or mini fridge. I understand those require maintenance over time, but for a hotel this expensive, that shouldn’t be an issue. Additionally, they only offer valet parking, but if you prefer to self-park, there’s a garage connected to the hotel for $36 a night. I believe this hotel is too 'high-end' for me, and I won’t be staying at any more Crowne Plaza locations.

Heater does not work, I froze for 3 nights. I had nothing but problems in this hotel. First they take 45min to check in 2 guests in front of me, then when I first came to the room i noticed it was at 60F I tried to push it up on the thermostat and it was not even lighting up. I complained and they sent a technician who then said i could not be fixed and show request another room. I called the office and they left me on hold for 1hr until I got tired and walked to the office instead. That's when they gave me another room which also was as cold but this one was pushing cold air in, I was either unlucky or every room had this problem. I had to sleep with a jacket to get by since I was tired. Next day it was warmer outdoors so it wasn't so bad and Ignored it but then I found another problem, the shower head was broken and when I opened the water would splash in every direction getting the whole bathroom wet. For those who need it, be aware there's no fridge or microwave in the room, the only microwave is a communal one next to office at front. The ice machine did not work either, room service also never came to clean the room or change the garbage. This is by far the worse hotel I've stayed at in my life.

We stayed here for one night. When we enter into bathroom, there is no soap, Toilet tissue so we asked front desk associate for tissue, she gave us face tissue and said they don't have the toilet tissue. How is this possible to run hotel without necessary things? Every hotel has tissue in laundry room or housekeeping cart. Also they don't have printer or business centre where we can print the documents. If it's IHG hotel they should have that type of service. Looks like Choice hotels and Wyndham hotels are way better than this hotel. We also own hotels so we know that which basic items we should keep in the room. Rooms and carpet need to be renovated.
