City Seasons Al Hamra Hotel

Stayed with a group in this place. There was a problem in almost every room. One hand towel and one large towel for 2 people, or a dying/flashing light in the bathroom, the lamp did not work, in another room TV and kettle did not work, in another room lots of long hair on the floor in the bathroom, the room for 3 people had a bed capacity for 2 people, even though the local guide double checked one hour prior to our arrival, that everything is ready. They did not clean the rooms the next day. At 4pm I had to let the reception know. They said that we probably had "Do not disturb sign", but we did not. That is a typical excuse at the receptions in recent times. I came back in the evening and they took away half of my pizza which was in the box on the table. I had one more pizza box which was empty and I placed it on the floor next to the bin. They did not inform the local guide, that only some lifts go to the breakfast room, they just mentioned to press the "M" button in the lift to get there. The guide informs the whole group then. Everything is dated, some items in the room and around the hotel are even dirty, I do not understand who gives so many good reviews to this place. I stay around 120 nights a year in the hotels around the world, but this is not a good place.
