Rotana Yas Island Hotel left only the most pleasant impressions! It has a convenient location, just a few minutes away from the main attractions of the island. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a pleasant design. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The breakfasts are simply excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste, all fresh and delicious. We also tried dinner once, and it was equally wonderful. The pool area is great — cozy and clean. It’s a perfect choice for a family vacation or a trip with friends.
The kids' playroom is fantastic, with plenty of activities and amazing staff who not only supervise but actively engage and play with the children. We will definitely come back here again!
However, it’s worth noting that there is currently construction going on near the hotel. While we didn’t hear any noise in our room, it was noticeable outside. It didn’t bother us, but it’s good to be aware of this.

Very nice property with great view and service.
The Indian restaurant is very good.
The staff at the hotel was helpful always and it's surprisingly good for a 4 star hotel.

The hotel met all my expectations. Very convenient location, windows overlooking the Formula 1 stadium. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help. Breakfast was tasty and had a large assortment, but constant and did not change during the week.

My room was spacious, clean and well-kept. Housekeeping was friendly when met but mostly discrete. The restaurants have delicious and ample food. The buffet restaurant's name, Choices, is not a misnomer. This is also where breakfast is served, sticking to the theme of its name. The lounge is a nice place to chill, as is the pool. While not the largest, I'm not interested in racking up lanes.
I don't work in hospitality so I don't know how the number of stars are determined but to me the hotel staff, from front desk, concierge desk to facilities, restaurants, bar and housekeeping, are the 5th star of this hotel!! They made me feel at home with their friendliness and helpfulness, and after a while they even started remembering my name and room number.
It might not matter much on holidays but my longer stay from mid-September to late October was part of relocation. So this experience helped tremendously with transitioning to a new life in another country, especially because my family will only follow much later.

To kick start our holiday and celebrate my birthday we booked a club room for our family - 2 adults and 16 year old son. Upon check in the hotel suggested that my son should share the same bed as my husband and I. In my culture it would be frowned upon for a 16 year old to share the same bed as his parents 🤔after much debate the hotel agreed that they would provide an additional bed at no extra cost. I phoned the reception after four hours and asked if we could have the extra bed and a towel, as only 2 towels were provided (and only one bath robe). Still the bed and towel didn’t arrive, I then went to reception to ask again if they could provide the bed and towel. The hotel promptly then delivered the additional bed but did not provide an additional towel. We went to the bar to watch the British F1, since the hotel overlooks Yas circuit we assumed the hotel would be familiar with the racing schedule. We were informed by two members of staff that there wasn’t any racing on and as such would not be shown in the bar. They then confirmed that there was racing on, but they wouldn’t be showing it. We went to the crown plaza across the road. I went to the gym in the morning, there was no hotel staff in the gym during my visit, which begs the question what happens if somebody has an accident in the gym if nobody is around. Overall, extremely poor service at a premium price! When we checked out of the hotel, the chap at the counter did not bother to ask if we enjoyed our stay, hence the review… Must try harder Rotana!

That was a great stay in the hotel! People working here are professionals from the entrance to the reception to the room cleaning service! We could even leave your children in kids club and have time for yourself for hours without worrying about kids! Thank you very much for being wonderful part of our amazing vacation!

I just moved to the UAE 3 weeks ago and have been accommodated in Yas Rotana for the duration of my stay. The services are amazing and well priced. The staff are so friendly and polite. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh bedding put on daily. The hotel were so accommodating, I had to extend my stay a number of times and each time they had no issue with helping me with this. I will definitely be returning.

I booked a hotel room for my self and 2 daughters and Laura at the front desk was very helpful and had also given me a superior room. When I checked the room the bathroom sink was blocked and I informed them and Laura took care of it right away. Bed is so comfortable AC was nice and cold breakfast was delicious and service was fast.
