I enjoyed staying at Marco Polo Hotel and even extended 3 more nights during my holiday in Dubai.
The room has a very bad smell
The furniture is dilapidated
Hair is everywhere in the bathroom and on the bed
I changed the room, but it was the same level as the first room in terms of poor condition
Breakfast is not suitable for a one-star hotel. It consists of two types of bread, boiled eggs, one type of cheese, and a few items that I do not know, and they smell bad.
I ordered an iron 3 times and it came the fourth time after an hour had passed and the iron did not work.
I couldn't sleep and left the room early in the morning
I do not recommend it under any circumstances
There was a bad smell everywhere especially in our room. we called them and asked for an air freshener. The attendant came but instead of air freshener, he was spraying our room with something that’s supposed to clean the surface! Not even for a bad smell! Moreover, there are cockroaches at the corner, dirty floor (probably it is not well vacuumed), dusts on certain areas, towels are old and discolored with weird smell, the place is old (almost everything is old).
I can’t recommend this place.
The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were top-notch. Highly recommend for its great location and outstanding service. Five stars and looking forward to returning
