Reviews
No free parking available belong to hotel
Yes there’s paid parking but not easy to find a slot at night, other paid parking available in hotel basement with 20 dirham per hour but it’s very narrow & risky for big car.
The hotel features 103 beautifully designed rooms, each reflecting a different ambiance with a wide array of colors across its floors. Despite being luxurious, HUES Boutique Hotel is surprisingly economical, making it a top choice for those seeking affordable luxury without compromising on quality.
Located in the bustling heart of Dubai, the hotel is just minutes away from key attractions like the Gold Souq, Dubai Heritage Village, and Al Mamzar Beach Park. This prime location allows guests to explore the city easily while enjoying the comfort of a sophisticated yet budget-friendly stay.
The Aurora Lounge is a highlight, offering a chic space to relax and unwind. Additionally, the hotel boasts three restaurants, a lobby café, meeting rooms, a business center, and top-notch amenities like a gym, spa, and swimming pool, catering perfectly to the needs of modern travelers.
Overall, HUES Boutique Hotel is an excellent choice for those looking to experience Dubai's charm without breaking the bank.
Communication with the reception was inconsistent, as there were instances where our queries seemed to slip through the cracks. The dim lighting in the room and the inability to open windows added to the discomfort.
Additionally, the pool area was undergoing maintenance during our visit, and the staff provided incorrect opening hours, causing inconvenience.
The noise from passing planes was noticeable, affecting the tranquility of the surroundings.
On a positive note, the gym facilities were commendable despite the dated equipment.
The spacious gym boasted a variety of machines, making workouts enjoyable. However, it’s definitely missing towels and water there.
The hotel's WiFi performed well, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
Fortunately, the soundproofing in the room shielded us from the aircraft noise, ensuring a peaceful rest.
Overall, while Hues Hotel has its shortcomings, such as inconsistent service and maintenance issues, its redeeming qualities include a well-equipped gym, reliable WiFi, and amiable staff.
2-the suite sink in the bathroom kept leaking so hard as if there was no pipe , from the sink straight to the floor (room 419) and if splatters everywhere
3-master light switch was acting up Aj’s kept turning on and off various times in the night by itself every 2 minutes waking me up , at some point it had turned on after I turned it off and stoped acting up so I gave up and slept with the light on
4-they made me pay a tourist fee when I’m a resident? , which doesn’t make sense at all , it was only 15 AED but it’s the concept itself which is super strange to me
On the bright side the room was decently clean , the gentlemen at the reception was very nice and so were the other workers , this is just poor hotel management and carelessness , not the workers fault
WOULD NOT stay here again
In the end, I told them, “I want to collect my things.” This employee said, “You have to pay because you were late for checkout time, and she wants a guarantee to open the room door for me.”
1. The room I booked was a family that is technically not correct. It only had 1 bed, which is deceiving. The name of the room needs to be amended. When I requested an extra bed, they charged me for it. 100AED a night which you kind of expect but would have been night if it was complimentary.
2. The extra I did receive was rock hard and was very uncomfortable to sleep on.
3. The extra bed was placed in the living or lounge area. The air con was so loud and was difficult to sleep. I reported it to the manager, who said it would be fixed, and i quote said, "Next time, it will be okay." Again, there is no offer of maybe a discount for the uncomfortable night.
4. Bathroom shower floor tile was repaired and potentially dangerous. Do not expect that from a 4-star hotel.
5. I asked for a late check as we were fasting and had been up all night in prayer, etc. They again, with no hesitation, said it would be a charge and did charge us for an extra few hours. 100AED. It would have been nice to be in a muslim country to show some sort of leeway even though the room was not booked.
6. We also paid for breakfast, but unfortunately, we're unable to use it as we were fasting. So I requested is there a possibility we can have this food we paid for as Suhoor (morning food ro close our fast). Guess what? They said it would be a charge. So we did not get any breakfast and had to go out to eat.
7. The bonus is that you can hear all flights from your room as it is close to the airport. If you are a sensitive sleeper, then it will be an issue.
I have a video but unfortunately can not upload it.
The room was dark, oppressive and smelt of stale cigarettes. The pillows also had a stale smell.
The toilet seat had broken and was stuck back together the quality of finishes was basic. The kettle fell apart when we picked it up to use it.
The view from our room was directly onto the adjoining apartments therefore we had to keep the curtain closed all the time.
The photos on the hotels website have been staged and colour enhanced and do not represent the hotel at all.
Apart from the female staff , I was the only female in a place full of male workers. (This was confirmed when we spoke to a number of them.)
The staff ( apart from the front desk) were friendly but in no way did this make up for our stay in this place.
