The hotel is a genuinely good place to stay, and the accommodations were pristine and incredibly spacious. We especially appreciated the generous size of the room, which was beautifully decorated and offered a fantastic view of the vibrant Deira neighborhood. The housekeeping staff kept everything immaculate, ensuring a relaxing and restful environment after long days out exploring.
While the hotel itself is top-notch, the true standout of our experience was the staff. In particular, we want to give a massive shoutout to Raiza. Raiza went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely accommodating, helping us promptly with our various requests, including our flexible check-out request. Her positive attitude and proactive approach made a significant difference to our entire stay.
Service like Raiza's is what elevates a good hotel experience to an excellent one. We highly recommend Swissôtel Al Ghurair for anyone seeking a high-quality, spacious stay coupled with truly exceptional customer care. We can't wait to return!
To put in a nutshell, i will surely visit this hotel again for sure.
Check-in was unpleasant. We arrived early at 2:30am, having paid in advance and arranged with the reservations team for an early check-in, but were still asked to wait until the time we had notified them, despite the room already being ready. The manager, Saber, was unhelpful and even rude to another guest waiting behind us.
Room cleanliness was disappointing. The comforter had black stains, and staff admitted it was an old comforter that should not have been used. Although they apologised, this should not happen in a hotel of this standard.
Breakfast service was poorly managed. At around 9:20am on the first morning, the crowd was average, yet tables were not cleared promptly and only two staff were available on the floor. There was no manager supervising the area. We only saw a manager briefly on the third morning. The fourth morning was slightly better managed, and on the last day one staff member on the floor was particularly helpful.
Overall, despite this being our third stay, the service and quality have dropped noticeably. We hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the guest experience.

However, the hotel feels a bit dated in some areas, and the service was hit-or-miss. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, while others seemed distracted or uninterested. I also noticed that housekeeping wasn’t always consistent — some days everything was restocked properly, other days small things were missed.
Breakfast was just okay. The food was fine, but the area got crowded and items ran out quickly without being replaced. I think they could do a better job keeping things organized during busy times. The pool and gym were decent, but nothing special.
Overall, I’d give it 3 out of 5 stars. It’s a decent hotel in a good location with comfortable rooms, but the service and attention to detail need improvement. With a bit more effort and care, it could easily be a four-star experience. For now, it’s just average — good enough for a short stay, but not somewhere I’d rush back to.
