Reviews
• Internet: The Wi-Fi is terrible. Slow, inconsistent, and unreliable — not acceptable in a city like Dubai where good internet is standard.
• Front Desk: Staff are unorganized and don’t seem trained to handle guests smoothly. Simple requests turn into drawn-out conversations, and you constantly feel like you have to chase them to get anything done.
• Upgrades: Don’t expect proactive service. Even for loyalty members, you have to push and negotiate hard for basic upgrades, which feels unwelcoming.
• Rooms: Getting a good night’s sleep is nearly impossible. The location means you’ll hear cars revving and Lamborghini engines blasting late into the night. If you’re hoping for rest, this isn’t the place.
Overall, the property feels like it’s running on style over substance. With so many excellent hotel options in Dubai, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
We booked this stay back in July, expecting Marriott’s usual standards. Instead, we were met by rude, dismissive staff and assigned a so-called “superior” room that was filthy throughout and reeked of drains.
The mattress was in a shocking state — the smell was unbearable, and when we pulled back the sheets, what we found was absolutely unacceptable (see attached photos). When we raised this with the reception manager, we were told this was a “good room” and “better than most.” That response alone says everything about how little regard this property has for guests.
We have reached out to Bonvoy twice requesting assistance or a refund, but have received no response.
To fellow travelers: be warned. This hotel offers disgusting mattresses, unhygienic rooms, and rude staff — a complete disgrace to the Marriott brand.
The vibe is modern, clean, and super relaxing.
Staff were genuinely friendly and attentive.
Rooms were spotless and cozy, and the location is perfect — close to everything yet quiet.
Loved the pool and the café downstairs.
Definitely coming back. Highly recommended!
From the moment I arrived, the service fell short of expectations. No one offered to assist with my luggage—not even the bellboy—which left an impression of poor hospitality and a lack of professionalism.
The restaurant on the first floor was also a major disappointment. There was no sense of attentiveness or service culture. No staff approached me to ask if I needed anything. It was evident that the team lacked proper training, and the overall experience was well below the standards expected of a Marriott property.
Most concerning, however, is the internet connection. It is extremely unreliable—practically unusable. I’ve been unable to conduct basic Teams calls or meetings, and speed tests confirm the connection is well below acceptable levels. I’ve had to rely on my own mobile data to stay connected, which is both inconvenient and unacceptable in a city like Dubai, known for its high-speed connectivity.
Having stayed at numerous hotels around the world, I am genuinely surprised and disappointed by the service level here. A stay at a reputed property like this should reflect care, professionalism, and efficiency—none of which I’ve experienced thus far. I sincerely hope management takes these matters seriously and implements immediate improvements.
But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the service — especially from Maribeth. She is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, she made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. She went out of her way every single day to check on us, making sure my coffee was just the way I like it and ensuring we had everything we needed. Most importantly, she looked after my child with such warmth and care — something that any parent deeply appreciates when staying away from home.
Maribeth is genuinely sweet, kind, and goes above and beyond in everything she does. She made us feel welcome, valued, and truly at home. Her attention to detail and heartfelt service added a special touch to our stay, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.
I would highly recommend Hotel Boulevard to anyone visiting Dubai — and if you’re lucky enough to meet Maribeth, you’re in the best hands!
The breakfasts were fantastic—delicious and plentiful. There was a wide variety, and we tried different dishes every day, with each one being excellent.
At the pool, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. They always found us a spot, laid out towels, and even served complimentary lemon water with ice. Although the pool was small, it was perfect for cooling off and swimming a little.
One downside was that we requested adapters for our chargers several times, but despite being told they would be brought to us, we never received them.
Overall, we left with a very positive impression of the hotel and enjoyed our stay, despite a few minor issues.
Overall, the housekeeping staff contributed significantly to my positive experience at the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel based on their excellent service!
Ms Terry & Ms Elly at the concierge was super helpful and amazing! Helped us throughout the stay as we were completely blur about the situation from grabbing a taxi to places to visit. thank you love!
