Utopia Forest Hotel

We had 2 rooms, one double on the first floor and one studio on the third floor.
We couldn’t wait to leave from there.
Studio on the upper floor had a very strong toilet drainage system smell, and it was not replaced. Hotel fare from the sea, and people were swimming in the duck pond.
We hired a room , inspired by images.
Do not recommend.
Stay there only if you can’t find anything else

Positive: The houses are new and nicely furnished. However, in our case the a/c control was broken and the shower gel empty. There are lots of parking spaces and they offer a variety of options to entertain kids. There is also a public charging station with two plugs on the area (0,79lv/kWh) for your EV. Internet works very well.
Negative: There is no hair dryer on the room. The two-bedroom apartments are only equipped with glasses in sets of two. Also, some dish towels would be great. The staff is rather unmotivated. The cleaning staff once said they'd come later and didn't return. The pool is very small and obviously directed at kids only. The restaurant was hugely disappointing (my fish got served cold and the whole dish was put in the microwave after I pointed this out...).
Good to know: There's lots of flies all day long. The beach is a bit off to reach via shuttle, 15 min by foot or with your own car. Prices there are 8lv per chair or umbrella, 30lv per cabana bed. There's an OK beach bar. There's not much in the area. So you'll very likely have to drive to a restaurant every night (15-30 min).

Although the location is incredible, the food is just ok. We received raw risotto and all in all the prices of the food do not complement the quality.

I came with my little doggo as hotel confirmed they are pet friendly which is not quite that and I would say hotel is dog tolerating , rather friendly. If you come with dog you need to pay 10eur extra for your dog per night which is ok , but on top you need to leave 150lev deposit cash at the check in which they keep until you move out . They told they take it to make sure dog will not make any damage which has no sense as you charge already extra money for the dog plus in dog friendly hotels usually any little damages are considered into the price already. Another thing is that they give you rooms only on the ground floor if you come with a dog and that is also not stated anywhere on their webpage. Moreover , you have to sign the paper with rules that you cannot go with your dog anywhere basically in the hotel, except your room or on the territory. They do not even allow dogs inside of the only and one restaurant they have which is nothing fancy and overpriced. They have tables outside but still you cannot be there and enjoy of cats literally surrounding you once you have a meal which is pissing itself , plus with the dog. Second day it has been rainy all day long and I was not able to go to the restaurant to eat at all as also you cannot leave your pet unattended. Very strange pet policy and not worth to go there with your dogs.

Also, there is nothing at all near the hotel, not even a little grocery , so unless you come by car , you need better take your own food and drinks with you. Otherwise , the only option is restaurant in the hotel where almost every dish costs 10eur.

Spa is private for extra cost of 40lev and can be booked only for 1 hour and there is no cleaning in between the sessions. For extra money can be definitely cleaned after each session.

Perhaps in summer it is better there as you can spend time on the beach , but outside of the season not worth to go there.
