We were in this hotel in mid-August 2019, we liked everything very much, the food was from 07:00 to 23:00, you could say that everything is included, after breakfast the bar opened and you could have a snack there, pancakes, pizza, drinks. The rooms were cleaned every day, they added water, friendly waiters, bartender, administration, we are very happy. I recommend

The staff of the hotel are exceptional and made sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard, bedding changed every 3 days, the cleaning ladies always planned it well and cleaned the room while we were having our breakfast, so we were never interrupted while resting in the room.
Special thanks to Tetiana Kaminska, who explained how everything works in the restaurant and made sure all the tables were cleaned promptly and to a high standard. She was friendly and even recommended a nice beach for us to visit nearby, which was really lovely.
Overall a nice budget hotel for a family holiday. Would be great to improve air conditioning in the lobby, restaurant and bars as it gets really hot with many people in one space.

Firstly I would be generous in giving this hotel 3stars as it most definitely is not.
Rooms are basic and nowhere in the hotel has air-conditioning. We were told it was broke on day 2 and that it was getting fixed. This did not happen and from reading reviews, God knows the last time it did work.
They try to tell you there is a problem in bulgaria with air-conditioning, there is not! Shops and restaurants are fully air-conditioned if inside.
The staff at reception are extremely rude and unhelpful however the cleaners and the chamber maid on floor 2 couldn't do enough to help. The poor ladies had to clean the rooms in this heat without air-conditioning is absolutely appalling, shame on this company who own a chain of hotels.
The food is edible, the pool area is lovely for the kids although sunbeds are uncomfortable. The entertainment during the day is repetitive for the kids however they probably do not have huge budgets.
For the price we paid for a family if 4, this hotel is a massive disappointment. Do not waste your money- in fact Kuban next door is 10 times better.

Great location. Everything is done by foot and nearby. The beach is a 9 minute walk. The dinner is not very much different every evening but there are so many restaurants nearby for not a lot of money. Breakfast and lunch is very good and the snackbar is very nice with kids. They can get ice cream, food and drinks all Day on their own. There is a lifeguard That watches everything very good. Animation team is very friendly and shows interest. The bathroom and rooms are clean and the airconditioning works perfect.

From the looks, I can tell only tables and floors are thoroughly cleaned, doors and windows are greasy and dirty. In the elevator handles are sticky and windows are greasy too, visible that they haven’t been cleaned in a while. Bathroom silicone between the tiles is moldy. AC was very very weak our whole stay there, so there was no escape from the heat.
Food was good, and Animators with games and attractions were great.

Im very happy with the stay. The service and the food was very good. Great variety of food. Everything fresh. Tasty drinks. Additional bar with chips, pizza, hot dogs and hamburgers open all day. Nice animations: mini disco for kids, darts, water polo, aqua aerobic, Zumba and yoga, foam party and Michael Jackson’s live performance. Friendly animators, bar and reception staff.
The hotel is close to the Main Street and the beach.
The water in the swimming pool could be warmer and there could be more day activities for younger kids. Also there shouldn’t be an additional charge for the bounce house in the hotel. Please fix the ping pong table as it could be also some sort of entertainment and competition for the guests. Also refresh the gym and kids area.

Room not clean. Toilet was dirty from previous guest.
Air conditioning not working. Said they will fix it but they didn't, me and the kid can't sleep, there are 29 degrees in the room.
In the restaurant they have only small plates, need to put main course and salad on 2 separate plates and make multiple "trips" to get all you need.
Not enough cutlery. No forks to eat your food with.
For the drinks you have only 100ml glasses. For water also. Need to refill 5 times just to not be thirsty.
Hotel parking is charged 25 BGN and is on different area, not at the Hotel.

Great hotel! The hotel staff is very friendly, the animators are on the same wavelength with you, the bartenders make the most delicious and fastest cocktails, the cleaner sings very beautifully during the cleaning, the rooms are clean, the food is delicious, especially the chef from the snack bar was kind to us, always smiles at the visitors, can talk to you, cooks the most delicious pizza, I will definitely return to this hotel more than once!

Stayed as a family of 5 in August 2023. 2 rooms but only one was cleaned in the week stay. The food was to a good standard. The quests were mostly Eastern European. The staff speak English and are helpful. 2 of our group were poorly for 24hrs, a theme for most of the hotel. All in all can not complain for the price

The best thing about Kalina Garden Hotel was the animation team, we are extremely pleased by their work and activities! They were always friendly, very active and dedicated to what they do. The activities were fun, the dances were very nice and they also have amazing kids’ animation, done with love, care and enthusiasm!
