Description

Cozy hotel located on the beach. Good food, friendly staff and great SPA centre with a wide range of procedures. One of the few hotels in Sunny Beach, which has free parasols and sun loungers on the beach. A high level of service for which the hotel was several times awarded the prestigious international award Golden Medal by Thomson Holidays and the TUI Holly.

Location: a resort complex Sunny Beach, 28 km from the airport of Burgas, in the Northern part of the resort and 3 km from the city centre.

Consists of one 8-storey building.

The hotel has 196 rooms.

Total area: 14 500 m2 (together with the Helena Park).

Beach: public, sandy beach 30 m away, the first coastal line. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses on the beach – free towels – free of charge. Between the hotel and the beach is the promenade.

Stayed a week at Helena Sands. Hotel is different, but quirky but we liked it. All usual amenities, right on the beach, great pool and gardens. Wellness suite, indoor pool. We stayed half board. Plenty of choice, fresh and no need to go hungry. Could be little tastier but maybe that's just me. Only gripe is a total lack of any drink at dinner, unless of course you pay. Stayed in September towards the end of the season so it was not packed. Always a sunbed. Right at the end of the strip about 20 mins walk to flower st. All in all we enjoyed it.

My stay at this hotel is coming to an end. The hotel has a good location. The waiters and housekeeping are top-notch. However, the service at the front desk is unacceptable. Every time I ask a question or request, they say it's not possible without checking or even trying to help. Because of this, I will definitely never return here.

Quiet and relaxing holidays.
And the best food you could ask for, we stayed for 1 week and every day there was something different.

Can't say enough good things about this resort hotel. First of all, the location is perfect. It's on the north side of Sunny Beach, away from much of the touristy/divey shopping and bars and stuff, which are fun...but better to be a little removed from that stuff for where you stay. The room we got was fantastic, great view. We did the full board (breakfast and dinner) and the food was pretty good, not great, but lots of choices! The poolside bar/restaurant was really good. Did dinner there one night - so good. Helena's beach access is perfect as well, perfect and secluded from the more touristy areas. Overall, really really great experience.

This is a little gem with everything you'll need, including a beautifully appointed spa Austrian style steam house, an outstanding hamam and massage therapist, gym, and indoor pool. The rooms are immaculately kept, and the food is varied, creative and locally produced, and tables are laid with fresh linen - lovely! I could live on the soups and fresh bread alone! It has a laid-back vibe, great staff, and it is the only hotel I have ever re-visited and will continue to revisit. It was so good I stayed an extra week and have booked my return in September. Well done to everyone. See you soon x

What an incredible hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was spot on. The place was spotlessly clean, and the staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve ever come across. The buffet breakfast and evening meals had so much variety — there was something for everyone, and it was all delicious. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of space to relax. I also booked a manicure, pedicure, and massage at the spa — all three treatments were absolutely amazing and so relaxing. Total bliss! The cocktails were top-notch, too — perfectly mixed and very reasonably priced. The location couldn’t be better: right on the beach and just steps from a lively street full of shops, bars, and restaurants. We had such a great time and would definitely return without hesitation. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel!

Here last October and back again - returning to a hotel is a first for us in over 40 years. Hotel is elegantly built, sea view rooms large although as others point out getting in and out of bath/shower can be a challenge. Food is buffet with an amazing selection, particularly breakfast. It is about 2km from the centre, so quiet. As in our 80s we often take the bus opposite the sister hotel one way. It's £1 to centre or £1.5 to Nessebar. Plenty of sunbeds on beach and around pool. We do miss how well towels and beds were managed last time (if a bit strict 😊). The beach is wide and as we seem to be in a lagoon usually very calm.

The hotel is located in a quiet location in the north of Sunny Beach. It has a luxurious, quiet, green and peaceful atmosphere. The food is extremely delicious. The waiters, receptionists and room cleaning staff are polite and respectful. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the sea view is very nice. The spa center is well-maintained. It is a quality hotel. It would be perfect if the furniture in the rooms were renewed.

What a jewel within a crown! A fabulous hotel on so many levels! Service is top notch and the staff cannot do enough for you! Immaculately clean and the housekeeping team are friendly and professional. The main restaurant is buffet style with so many options and choices! The wine list is extensive and offers both local and international choices. I was a solo traveller and loved every minute! And felt so safe and taken care of! The spa and all the facilities are truly amazing! See you soon for my second trip later in the year!

1st time in Sunny Beach. Selected this hotel because of previous reviews and we were not disappointed. Half board. Great selection for both breakfast and dinner. Room was immaculate. View from balcony is exactly as pictured on hotel site. No outside noise at night. Pool was usually quiet and no music ( if thats what you like) and had a gentleman who was a lifeguard also. Gave great comfort as we have a 10year old. Space between sunbeds and pool towel provided. Never had a problem getting sunbed irrespect of the time of day. Free beds on the beach. we spent most of our time at the pool. A special mention to the animation team of Tsetso, Tsanko, Dima, Rona, Sonya & Delisiya....they did an amazing job. My son was reluctant to go to the kids club the first day, however, after meeting Delisiya, he requested that we were back in time to go to the club as he didn't want to miss it... Overall, we all loved it so much we have booked for this year again, The first time we have stayed and travelled to the same place twice!!
