Reviews
The pool area was absolutely amazing—spacious and well-maintained. The pool itself is large and very inviting, perfect for spending the entire day relaxing. The direct access to the beach is a fantastic feature, making it easy to enjoy both the pool and the sea.
**Food:**
Unfortunately, the food was the low point of our stay. The variety was quite limited, and the flavors were underwhelming. On our last day, we even chose to eat at a restaurant outside the hotel because we were not satisfied with the food quality.
**Room:**
The room was very nice, with plenty of space and a stunning view of the sea. Waking up to that view every morning was definitely a highlight of the trip. Despite the bad smell on bathroom on the first day and the fridge doesn’t work (probably because the energy is cutoff when the room is empty, disgusting)
**Customer Service:**
The customer service was disappointing. Most of the staff seemed uninterested and didn’t appear happy to be working. From check in to check out, (bar staff, restaurant, reception) all in bad mood. The only exception was Mustafa, the bartender by the pool, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
**Overall:**
Despite some issues with the food and service, the hotel has an excellent location, and our stay was still enjoyable overall.
As for the hotel, we opted for a sea-view apartment with a spacious balcony. The room was comfortable, with large beds, daily room service, and fresh towels. However, it wasn't spotlessly clean; a spider in the corner stayed with us throughout our stay (I do not kill them).
Now, onto the food – unfortunately, it was the weakest aspect. Limited variety, repetitive dishes, and not all of it was served hot. We both fell ill on the same day, so better avoid high-risk foods. They offer snacks between meals and grilled meat in the main bar, which we only discovered later.
During check-in, we received our key cards and no further guidance. Explore the hotel, as no one shows you around. There are terraces on each floor, two pools, a gym, and a pool table (in subpar condition) downstairs. There is also SPA, we did not tried it.
Drinks from the bar were acceptable, with no major complaints. However, they have no fresh lemon or lime, and sometimes ice could be in short supply. On a few occasions, some soft mixers were unavailable, but overall, it was okay - it's important to keep your expectations realistic. One peculiar observation was that there's a period during the day when none of the bars are staffed. It appears as though they are closed, but they are not; the staff takes a break twice a day at the same time, and there's no information provided about this. Just exercise some patience, and they will be back.
Coffee from the restaurant bar (the one with manual espresso machine) was good, there are two guys who make it even very good. No complains in here.
Regarding the cleanliness of the bars, the restaurant bar was generally acceptable, but the pool bar needed improvement. We noticed mold in various places, including the ice bucket. The staff, on the whole, were okay; we engaged in pleasant conversations with some of them, and they were generally friendly. Some of them maybe work little too many hours.
I must admit, I thoroughly enjoyed the pianist who performed at the hotel. He unquestionably had jazz in his veins and showcased impressive musical skills. It's astonishing how live music can transform an ordinary dining experience. I think He doesn't really speak english, but he do speak german if you wish to have a chat with him.
Last but certainly not least, I must mention the animation team. Our first night at the hotel exceeded our expectations. There was a delightful duo on the team, a black hair girl and a guy, both very friendly, and we engaged in enjoyable conversations with them initially. However, the real highlight came in the evening when they threw a full-blown party, complete with music, dancing, and the girl even sang! The infectious energy they brought had everyone having a fantastic time; I even found myself dancing with random guests on the dance floor. The girl's boundless enthusiasm made it impossible not to join in. It's regrettable that they departed the following day; I'm genuinely curious about what else they had in store for the season.
In summary, our experience was decent. If it weren't for the food quality, we'd recommend it easily.
A very warm welcome, some Bulgarian fizz, nice food, a beautiful view of the sea, spacious, clean rooms, and the most helpful staff I've come across!
You were all so hospitable and kind, thank you, especially Nikolay, Diana, the staff in the kitchen, and the lady who kept our rooms clean and well-stocked!
Wish you all the best! :D
Room: non-pressing door, spider webs,
Pool: rust, both steps into the pool are broken, no one cleaned the pool for the whole 11 days, dirt and sand on the bottom of the pool, tiles falling off, drains falling apart, no one checks quest entering into the pool, random people from Beach (not hotel guests) use "private" hotel pool.
+ Very close beach
+ Beautiful view
+ Good WiFi
+ Good food
+ Large and comfortable bed
- poor quality of pool
- lack of parking space, cars park completely randomly
