Hotel Alba - All inclusive

Dear All,
I must start with the things that were good: the spacious room was brilliant, I think it was one of the biggest rooms that I have ever seen. No matter on which side of the hotel you are staying (with view to the sea or with view to the land) the view is spectacular especially when the sun drops. The furniture in the room had a nice touch to it, it looked professional and at the level of 4 stars. Those are all the good parts with the accommodation at Hotel Alba.
Now, since I do work in Customer Support and also know how to handle all kinds of discussion with customers including how to do sales, it was super unfriendly to be rejected by the staff 3 times, when we have asked to extend our holiday with one more night. If the reception staff would have been qualified for doing this job they would have known about this. The way we were treated from the Hotel Reception Staff was so unprofessional that I was thinking that they wanted to jump on us and start beating us. The language and tone of the reception staff was unprofessional, the refusal was almost like we were kicked out of the hotel by force.
This hotel is no near the level of 4 star hotel.
The next topic to be discussed will be food and beverages.
The was way below any expectation of an All inclusive Hotel, meaning that all of the drinks are mixed with water on a high percentage (more than 70-80% of the drinks have at least 80-90% added water into them. For example, I drank 5 consecutive beers and they were so diluted with water that it has created stomach aches, the same goes for all of the juices that the hotel offers.)
Even if someone asks for a cocktail (like a Vodka with Redbull or a Vodka with apple juice) they will receive an instant refusal and you will be told to go somewhere else. Unprofessional.
On one of the days, meaning on a Tuesday at dinner, the staff of the restaurant had to close the main doors of the restaurant due to an overload of people. This was out of hand, and to be honest when you are paying for a service that the entrance to that service is refused you deserve to be filed a suit!!!
Cleaning is an area of Science Fiction or Fantasy, because the cleaning is not doing anything!! Even if you put the towels on the floor the cleaning ladies won't pick them up and replace them with newer ones. I won't even dare to say anything about vacuuming the room, because that didn't happen for days in a row. To be honest, I think that nobody stresses enough to keep the hotel under a 4 star standard. The lack of respect and the way they treat their customers, shows a total lack of interest in the business itself.
Moreover, on the last day of our staying, I was able to observe that the pipe from under the sink in the bathroom had a hole in it and a lot of water was coming out of it, even when the tap water was turned off! We have instantly told the management about this issue and their response was: "Oh... We will send the maintenance/technical guys there to fix it" but obviously it wasn't solved. If you take a look at the picture attached, you will see that this pipe should have been changed about 5 years ago, not today or tomorrow.
I do recommend for anyone who wants to stay at this hotel to try and find a better accommodation or just to take a room without any kind of food services. The drinks and food are better in the local shops.

In conclusion, I will never return to this hotel nor will I ever recommend this to any of my friends, clients nor family.
