Very beautiful and cozy hotel. The service could be better in some aspects like at the restaurant for breakfast more than once there were no mugs and when I asked a waitress she didn’t know what to do. Also the soap/shampoo was never refilled when the room was cleaned. These are details but it matters in this kind of hotel and the staff should be better trained. Receptionists both at the hotel and restaurant were perfect, very nice.

Quite disappointed with the room. First we were sent to the room with the wrong keys. Had to go all the back to the reception. Got a new room nit sure it what what we paid for. Rather small for a superior with a very small bathroom. Third there was urine in the toilet when we arrived. They
vacuumed the rooms at 8:00 in the morning on the weekend. Enough said? Oh right they overcharged us when we went to checkout and it took 15 minutes to correct. No seats for breakfast.

It’s been a lovely stay here. The rooms are big and you can’t hear any of the neighbors which is perfect. The duvet are a bit small but had a great time, the breakfast is great with lots of choice.

Ah amazing hotel in the most luxury area of Berlin! All the good restaurants are around the hotel. Rooms are big and the staff is so nice! The breakfast is delicious! Hotel has a pool and sauna free of charge, check my picture. I will definitely come back here! Thanks.

Hotel looks super fancy buuuuttt was not. First you have to pay a deposit of some. Bit odd. Reception didn't really give out any info about the pools, where is the breakfast etc. No welcome no nothing.
Pool area seemed fine buuuttt saunas and showers are mixed and you are suppose to be naked without swimsuit with random people. Made me feel super uncomfortable and I am finnish but even in Finland you don't really get mixed saunas. If we do you can go in with swimsuit or anything. Also the pool area isn't finished. Looks still like under renovation.
Breakfast was the saving thing. Amazing friendly staff and amazing food.
When we left we didn't get any how was your stay. Welcome again...Maybe I am just too used to getting even decent custom service.

Only booked in for 1 night as we were passing through Berlin. Booked a family room, went to check in and were told we had been given a free upgrade to the Presidential suite. Wow!
The suite was amazing, so spacious and comfortable. I wish we had stayed longer.
All areas of the hotel were spotless in terms of cleanliness.
Every member of staff we encountered were so helpful, polite and courteous.
Would definitely stay here again if we were in Berlin. Great location for Train and Bus links as well.

The hotel is in a perfect location, in the most posh neighbourhood of Berlin with a good vibe day and night.
The room was rather old (but I knew that so no complaints here) but spacious. I didn't appreciate that in a 5* hotel you get complimentary water only the first night, that they use soap dispensers, you get a body lotion only the 1st night and that they didn't have coffee making facilities.
The recreation area wss very good, large pool that you can actual swim, and a mixed sauna and steam room. Compulsory nakedness in the sauna and steam can be a bit awkward for some people, but we are in Germany.
My big dislike during my stay was the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast was served in a different place than what was mentioned in the site or displayed in the photos on several sites. It was served in one of the events rooms in the 1st floor. The room was not bad but it wouldn't be my choice. But the tables were squeezed together so no room for privacy in the rush hour. But the highlight was that if the room became full then you were seated in the hallway (see my photo below). Unacceptable.
I expressed my annoyance to the duty manager. Without expressing any opinion on my complaint he committed to do his best to address it. Even though I think he honestly tried, my annoyance finally didn't get addressed.
Anyway, I consider this a sign of disrespect to hotel's guests and I hope that they soon update their site accordingly and find a proper way to serve serve all during breakfast as they deserve.

Friendly staff. Good location. An older property that feels tired and out of date. The rooms need to be refurbished, and the lobby and bar need younger energy. IMHO

On late arrival the reception staff was just amazing. They knew we were tired and took time to explain everything we need to know about the hotel and the area. It is a beautiful entrance and corridors, a bar / café at the reception area. The rooms we had were really big, cozy and I Loved the walk in shower. One thing I didn't notice, there are 2 curtains on the window, not realizing, did draw only the thin one, then I woke up really early with the sun shining. Worth closing both to keep the light out. Location is great, Central and there's a Metro station opposite the hotel.

Made a booking to stay here. Only 22 hours before my train departed they cancelled the booking because 'the price was not correct'. They could have called me to talk this through since they've made a mistake, but Hotel Bristol chooses to let the guest be the one who has to find out via shady unpersonal emails. No apology or whatsoever. Customer service does not exist at Hotel Bristol.
