Good location. Limited selection of breakfast items. Quite difficult to adjust the temperature in room. 3 euro for 30 minutes luggage store.

Experience with staffs was great even when trip somehow made a mistake in my booking. Paid for 2 rooms for 2 night but the hotel can only find booking for 1 room.

Had to pay extra for the second room. Hopefully Trip can sort this out and refund me the extra that I paid for

Good hotel, nice location.

This is HHI Express, so there is a touch of "budget hotel" feeling in the service, but otherwise a decent hotel for stay and location is pretty good.

The goods:
- Nice location (close to multiple restaurants, transport options and city center).
- Rooms are good, clean.
- Staff at reception speak fluent English
- Breakfast is quite OK.
- There's a self checkout stall next to reception for quick bite/drink etc.
- You won't find shaving or dental kits readily, but per need, go and collect from reception.

The "could be better" ones:
- There's no room service (so go out there and enjoy the neighborhood).
- There ain't any locker/safe in the rooms.
- The AC is bit weird - perhaps keeping the slanting window open is a better choice.

The BAD:
- I had requested for a possible 30-60 minutes delayed checkout, but Hotel couldn't accommodate - which was unfortunate as checkout time is 12:00, whereas checking in is at 3:00 & I requested checkout at 1:00 (& am a club member). 🤷

From BER Airport it will take you around 25-35 minutes via cab (~€35-65) or may avail public transport (first train, then bus).

I wanted to express my sincerest gratitude and appreciation I had at this location! The staff is professional, attentive & very kind! I loved my room! I feel bad I was there for 24 hrs and didn’t even get to do much but the city is wonderful! I loved my experience at this hotel esp their attention to detail as well! I am going to come back and stay at this location again for sure this is the best experience I’ve had in forever! Staff needs a raise :)

The hotel was mainly as you would expect, nothing amazing, nothing too bad either. The exception to this was the air conditioning, or lack of. The air conditioning (and fan) does not work if the outside temperature is less than 16°c. So the only way to ventilate the room is to open the window, this may be satisfactory on the rear of the building but on the front directly above the main entrance it is very noisy throughout the night, and the room fills with the smell of smoke when people are standing around chatting and smoking just below your window. I did not get a good night's sleep for the three nights I stayed, either woken by noise with the window open or the room becoming too hot and stuffy with the window closed. This is a very poor policy and I would not stay here again. Especially when the hotel rooms are advertised with Air conditioning.

My lovely wife Ping and I enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express while visiting Berlin. The room was clean and comfortable. Our check in and check out was seamless, especially with the friendly and accommodating reception staff. I special shout out to Kristian whose friendliness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. Also, to Mane for her kindness and friendliness. Please pass on my thanks to both of them. Lastly, the breakfast was abundant and satisfying.

I stayed there recently for about four days. It was absolutely a lovely stay!!. Felt like I was living at home. Extremely comfortable and the breakfast was really delicious and had a great variety. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. They also provide lactose free milk at the breakfast for those who are lactose intolerant. The housekeeping was also really friendly and they made sure to consider in the specific requests that I had. The location is also convenient we were able to discover and explore Berlin on foot from the hotel really well and access it also by public transport. This is definitely a hotel I can recommend if you want to explore Berlin or just be really close to, any other place from there.
