Leonardo Hotel Berlin

Overall a great stay—clean, and comfortable. However, attention to detail could be improved. If a guest requests a service, it should be followed through and not forgotten. Also, the common ironing room needs a better location. Having it inside the accessible toilet isn’t ideal for hygiene reasons. Otherwise, a good experience!

Reception staff were very helpful and official. Room was cleaned daily and thoroughly, my personal belongings were handled with care in my absence. I felt safe and secure during my stay at the hotel. Couldn’t hear any noise coming from outside or other rooms, therefore I could have a good rest. Free bottled water was provided, alongside with other refreshments. Hotel is in a great location, close to U-Bahn and other transportation services, making it easy to get about the city and back. I would definitely stay at the Leonardo hotel again and would recommend to others, based on my experience.

A few minutes walk to the U2 & excellent shops & cafes nearby make this a great location for those exploring Berlin. We were allocated a room overlooking the car park on the 3rd floor which was very quiet. Our adult daughter travelling with us was on the second floor overlooking the street & she experienced much more outside noise. Also there was a large party of children staying who were running along the corridors by her room late at night - without supervision. Rooms were clean, hot water plentiful; we did however find the beds very hard & pillows quite uncomfortable. All staff were welcoming & professional

Great hotel definitely worth staying there right next to the metro too. A fantastic kebab shop opposite the hotel definitely worth trying. The beds and pillows were amazing a good powerful shower and rooms kept nice and clean.

I am a regular visitor at this Leonardo. I won't be exaggerating if I say that I look forward to going to this Leonardo every single time.

The rooms are really comfortable and the bed is also really sturdy and helps in a good nights sleep.

The breakfast is diverse and has a very good combination.

The highlight however are the staff!! Being patient and willing to listen and do whatever they can when it comes to personal requests about rooms and facilities.

We booked this through EasyJet Holidays as it seemed to have the optimal review/price ratio and wasn't ridiculously far out of the way (city centre reachable on public transport in 20 mins). Friendly enough staff (do remember you'll have to pay about €4-5 per night 'city tax' at check-in), rooms clean, bathroom the right size with tissues, refuse bags for sanitary products, nice big sized sink, shower stool which my partner needed to make use of.

The bedroom itself has a comfy double bed (two separate bedsheets, which is weird as a Brit but just meant no complaints about hogging the sheets(!)) with comfy pillows. Sockets and an additional reading light on each side of the bed, a 'suite pad' (with USB port on the docking station dealy) where you could specify whether you wanted your room cleaned, see the bar menu, see local recommendations, etc. And most importantly, the room had a safe, which I availed myself of for keeping valuables in. And a TV, obviously.

Points maybe lost for the lack of working aircon, though luckily it didn't exceed 22C during our stay and there were next to no nuisance revellers making noise in the small hours in the neighbourhood. The WiFi also isn't brilliant and I mostly stuck to my 5G. And if you need a powerful hairdryer or one you need to use on the bed, bring your own. The existing one can't be removed from the bathroom and like most hotel hairdryers, isn't great.

There was also a fire alarm triggered the day we checked out, where the tannoy announced there was a "technical issue" and that we had to evacuate, though this turned out to be nothing, despite the speedy arrival of police and fire brigade.

We certainly wouldn't rule out staying again, and we may well be back in Berlin some day soon, as there's just too much to do.

People are nice by the reception. This is the main thing !!! Rooms are good and big . Bed 🛌 comfortable. Towels must be changed!!!! Carpet cleaned !!! You can heir doors banging from other rooms !!! And area not great !!! 145€ for double room 😨.

Our overall stay in the hotel was great, from their staff to our hotel room and breakfast. The hotel’s location is very convenient too, it is near an U-Bahn station that easily connects you to Berlin’s city center, there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We really had a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel!

Excellent hotel, stayed there for one night. Wifi is good, there was a free bottle of water, coffee and tea inside. Towels, bed, everything was clean and tidy. There is a metro not far away, as well as a central bus station. I recommend this
