Novotel Berlin Am Tiergarten Hotel in Berlin

In addition to the highly convenient location and the exceptional benefit of free parking, I would highlight the generous and delicious breakfast. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the kids' playroom added to the enjoyment of our stay, especially for our children.
We did miss having slippers in the room (though they were available upon request) and a freshly cooked dish at breakfast, but perhaps these are no longer standard offerings for a 4-star hotel.

It is my pleasure to say that after pandemic the level of service is constantly going up. Reception staff is definitely more experienced and very nice and helpful - this is vey noticeable. I am quite frequently staying in this hotel so I can see the difference. The minibar gets refilled every day (also not a standard in the past). The overall hospitality level is growing :-)
This is my favorite hotel - I did check other Accor hotels in Berlin but I always return here - big thanks to the whole Team!
I will also mention the usual; nice rooms, S-Bahn 50m from the hotel entrance, good food in the restaurant.

Really really great hotel! Rooms immaculate, stylish and service impeccable. Hotel provides free baggage storage and area to wait on 6th floor including showers and space to get changed after you’ve checked out! Only downside would be that breakfast is on the expensive side however if you are travelling as a family under 15s are free.

My stay at Novotel Tiergarten in Berlin was overall very pleasant. The hotel is ideally located right next to the beautiful Tiergarten, making it perfect for both business and leisure travelers. The proximity to the S-Bahn station makes exploring the city extremely convenient.

The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The large windows with views of the city or Tiergarten are a particular highlight. Everything was clean, and you can tell that attention to detail is a priority. However, the hotel has aged a bit in some areas, which is noticeable in the furnishings of the public spaces and some of the furniture.

The staff were very friendly and professional, always willing to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, offering a wide selection of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The hotel also has a wellness area, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day.

Overall, despite showing a bit of wear and tear, Novotel Tiergarten remains an excellent choice for a comfortable stay in a prime location in Berlin.

A fabulous experience. We stayed a week this spring and our expectations were surpassed. Our room was huge, the beds were extremely comfortable, the service was excellent, and housekeeping was attentive. Everyone was friendly, and despite being busy, the hotel was nice and quiet. Everything was clean, the price was excellent, and there is every amenity you could possibly want available. The location was also perfect for all of our sightseeing. No matter where we were or what time it was, we were able to hop on the S Bahn and get back easily. We felt safe wandering this area at night, and a nice walk in the park is mere steps away, should you need a break from the bustle of the city.

What more could we ask for? We would happily stay here again, and recommend this hotel for business or family trips.

Had a great time at this hotel.
Rooms are really spacious and well presented. We were checked in and out by Yussef at reception and he was excellent.
Really enjoyed our 7 night stay and will definitely come back.

Staff went out of their way to have our stay special by providing a fruit basket and complimentary soft drinks. Guy at the reception gave me an excellent recommendation for a restaurant with local food, just around the corner. There is free parking Mon-Fri very nearby just outside the hotel. We stayed in a corner room with 2 adults and 2 kids. There were plenty of room for 2 x queen or double beds. But the kids' bed was a sofa bed. Would have been good if you have a pool or a jacuzzi.

Unfortunately during our stay, the local S-bahn was not running and so an expected direct trip from the Central Station had to be made with the bus instead of the S-Bahn. The hotel is not at fault though! The hotel itself has excellent amenities, especially their space for children. It is large and well equipped for kids to wait as parents check in or out. The room was also a good size for us. Unfortunately the drainage is really bad. Makes one wonder if it is cleaned properly of all the hair or if it is normal to have such slow drainage? There was also leftover water in the boiler from the previous tenant...
In general though, I would stay at Novotel again for the price point, convenience and service since I generally only use it to sleep. I would stay again.
The market on Saturday was an added bonus we did not expect! If you are staying through to Saturday, it is definitely a plus!

Positive:
+ Good location near a big park and train station.
+ Variety of choices on breakfast (on Sundays were much better than days before)
+ daily cleaning with new tee/coffee in room
+ children's corner with a variety of toys (for kids 2-6 years)
+ big outdoor playground in 10 mins (for kids 2-10 years)
+ separate toilet
Negative:
- the room is very small for 4 people
- small annoying design things (like wash gel is only in the shower stall, not in the bathtub; no sink in the toilet; one chair: no baggage place and etc)
- the big spring cleaning is needed (blanket with blood, gray tulle with spots)
