The pool water is advertised as 26°C, but it feels a bit cooler than expected. It's not cold, and if you're swimming, it’s fine, but if you're just walking around or looking to relax, it might feel a bit chilly.
There are no designated swimming lanes, which can make the experience chaotic. You'll depend on others to be mindful of their surroundings, and you also need to stay alert. If you're there to swim, it feels like a bit of a gamble—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
The pool itself is decent, although you’ll notice some mold in certain areas. To be fair, it’s not terrible, but it's worth mentioning. One thing that could improve the overall cleanliness is making swim caps mandatory—there tends to be hair floating in the water, which can be off-putting.
The women’s changing room is small, with limited space. It also could use a good cleaning, as there were balls of hair scattered on the floor. The showers had mold and dirt buildup, which was disappointing.
For €10, considering this is part of a luxury hotel, the experience was acceptable but just barely. It's on the edge of being "okay," but there’s definitely room for improvement.

I didn’t stay overnight here but from the service and the amenities offered (with false advertisement) - when I return to Berlin I know which hotel to avoid.
The man at reception was not friendly, no hello when we greeted him first and was very rude when we told him we had a reservation for swimming.
The swimming pool is advertised on their website to be 26*, and as other reviewers have *recently* mentioned, this is false. The pool temperature was barely at 20* - was very cold and surrounding people were literally shivering in the pool. The actual pool seemed clean, however entering the pool / the stairs leading inside the pool was very dirty.
Will not be returning as the service from the reception was less than the standard + false advertisement for my sole purpose of the visit. I can’t imagine what false advertisement they may have places for the rooms + other services they provide. Will be going elsewhere if I need to book a pool session again.

We loved our recent stay at the Hotel Oderberger. The room was unique, stylish and spacious for a family of four. Hotel staff were great and breakfast was expensive but delicious. A truly lovely place to stay in a fun neighborhood close to transport connections that will take you anywhere you need to go.

Amazing experience, especially given that we were studying at the GLS language school on site. We booked the tower room, which had a wonderful view. The location was simply perfect, with cafes, restaurants (many vegan options), bars, laundry, grocery, and transit just a stone's throw away. The bar was so luxurious to hang out in (both inside and outside), and the workout room was great - we used it twice in our 5 days on site. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful in all our needs, and I have to give a special shout to the bar staff who we felt really made an effort to get to know us!

I am reviewing the pool and the interaction with the reception staff. The pool is nice, and it was not overcrowded when we were there. However, for the 20/25 people there, there were 12 lounge chairs. I cannot imagine what it is like to lie down and relax when it is crowded. If you cannot get a sun chair, you have the option to sit straight on a hospital-like wooden bench. I have not tried it, but it did not look very relaxing. As regards the staff at the reception, I have interacted with them both at an event a couple of days prior as well as for the visit of the pool. They are unfriendly and not interested at all in their customers. For an expensive boutique hotel you would at least expect a smile and a how may I help you when you stand in front of them. First and last time at the pool, and I will definitely not be trying the hotel for my guests.

Lovely with a quirk.
The hotel is excellent! Our one complaint is that the doors for the rooms on the main floors as well as between areas of the facility don't close softly on their own. It's quite loud and can be heard clearly in your room, like a book falling face down.

Super friendly staff. Great bar and pool. Sun terrace and gym were a bonus as was the collection of great hangout spots (wine bars and cafe’s) in the local area.

A charming and unique hotel in a beautiful historic building. Beautifully appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly located for easy access around the city and with lots of great dining nearby. The hotel has a wonderful bar as well.
