I stayed at this hotel recently for two nights as part of a tour with Leger. The hotel is perfectly fine, it kind of fits with the vibe of Dresden - somewhat relaxed and laid back. The hotel has been modernised in some parts but retains a more traditional feel to it - especially as it uses physical keys! As would be expected in this style of hotel there were no USB charging functionality, but in my room (413) there were two plugs right by the bed which was handy. The bedding is again the more traditional sort than Brits will be used to, but the pillows were nice and firm. The TV in the room worked well with some English news channels available. I was on the top floor on the corner so had to contend with some interesting shaped ceilings - for the most part the space was well utilised, but in order to shower I had to squat the whole time which wasn't pleasant and wouldn't be possible for older people (I'm about average height for reference). The shower did warm quickly though and maintained heat. The hotel is situated just off of a busy main road but despite this there was little in room noise - the main noise came from noisy guests (and after 10PM!) The breakfast here was fine, nothing to rave about but also nothing to really criticise either. Staff both in reception and at breakfast weren't overly friendly but neither were they rude. I'd certainly consider staying at this hotel again (especially as I would love to return to Dresden), but would ask for another room just because of the shower situation - for a couple of nights it is manageable but for longer stays it wouldn't be.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Dresden. The reception staff, room and bar were fine. Had breakfast at the hotel which was ok but limited choice. It's a 30 minute tram ride into the centre of Dresden & the tram stop is 200 metres from the hotel, or it's a 20 minute taxi ride.

Everything was good except breakfest. The rooms are big and clean. There is a car parking place near the hotel. The reception working longer and you can check in later. But the range of the food is very poor 😔

Enough performance because this hotel hot and the hotel don't have climate. Only rooms has a fan. You should be wake up early because when school opened child volume you wake up. Dinner drink and breakfast is good

Only advantages and positive experience! Hotel staff is really friendly and ready to help and support. The teapot and slippers were provided from the first call. I have a gluten-free diet, and for breakfast they baked a fresh gluten-free bread for me - it was absolutely amazing. We stayed with a family and booked two rooms. The hotel kindly provided us neighbour rooms as we desired. Thank you so much 😊!

You can reach the hotel from Dresden central from multiple routes using a tram or a train and bus and it took less than half an hour. A big supermarket is close to the hotel so you can buy there. On the ground floor of the hotel, there's an Italian restaurant. In case you are tired or lazy you can eat there, which was good. The problem with rooms was they were not sound proof.

The Azimut hotel is great for a short stay however the restaurant next door was extremely disappointing. We waited over an hour for some dried pasta and over cooked salmon. After which the staff didn’t even know what drinks we had or indeed food. Sharply followed by the vein attempts to tell us the card machine wasn’t working and they could only accept cash. Obviously an attempt to say what customer they weren’t even in here look at the transaction history easy to hide a cash transaction. I have worked in the catering trade for 25 years plus and can happily say that my youngest child could prepare a better meal than we were served.

Very convenient location, parking nearby for a car, the room is very comfortable and clean, sleeping comfortably and quietly, I recommend
