Our stay at The Wellem Hotel in Düsseldorf was nothing short of perfection. Check in was quick and easy, and reception staff were super nice and very welcoming.
The rooms were immaculate, incredibly spacious, and equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The attention to cleanliness and detail was remarkable, and the quiet ambiance made it a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
The location of The Wellem is unbeatable. Just a few minutes’ walk to the charming Christmas Markets, it couldn’t have been more convenient. It’s also close to beautiful parks for a peaceful stroll and the Heinrich-Heine-Allee train station, making it easy to explore the city. (2 stops to central station)
This hotel has quickly become my absolute favorite, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Thank you, The Wellem, for an unforgettable experience. You’ve set the bar incredibly high! 🤩

The service here is the star of the show. I have stayed at this hotel for months at a time and the staff were some of the best I have had in Europe. Rooms are massive, services are excellent, restaurants are extraordinary, comfortable beds, and the cleanest of clean. Cocktail bar and jazz nights are a real treat. I could go in and on about the team and how "at home" they have made us feel. Sure...they could use a pool/spa, but the fitness room has a peleton, other cardio machines, solid weight selection and ample room. Thanks for all the wonderful service!! I recently stayed at The Wellem with my family, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations we had for such a prestigious establishment and more so as now repeat clients of this place.
While a few team members were courteous and supportive, the overall service across many segments fell really short.
We faced several concerns and escalations during our stay, which were not handled in a professional manner.
When we raised our complaints, the response from the front desk staff was unprofessional and dismissive.
One staff member even made sarcastic remarks, which was both surprising and disappointing given the hotel’s reputation.
Despite the positive interactions with some staff members, the way our concerns were addressed was unacceptable and has left us questioning the level of service at this establishment.
We hope the management takes these issues seriously and implements the necessary improvements

My family recently stayed at The Wellem in Düsseldorf. We arrived from Boston on an overnight flight with 2 small children. We had a perfect stay. We had requested 2 rooms next to each other and the rooms were available to us when we checked in. The staff was wonderful. The children were greeted with a couple of thoughtful gifts. The rooms were spacious and very quiet. The staff was very helpful in ordering a cab with seats for the kids as we returned to the airport. We will be traveling again this fall with more family and we are planning to stay at The Wellem again.

Quiet.
The room is huge.
The service is great.
The breakfasts is delicious.
The location is superb.
The soft drinks are free.
Totally worth the price.

I am currently waiting to check in on a 3 night points stay. i am Globalist and booked a business suite and was upgrade on the App to a studio suite. I left the HR Cologne early because the app said my studio suite was available. I arrived at noon and was told it was available for $70 Euro. I chose to wait. You need a room number or voucher for the Wifi, I had neither. I was allowed to wait in the lounge. After 2 hours at 2pm I went to the front desk they gave me a nice room but it had double beds that were also not made up. I returned and was then given room 102 which was disappointing and below the category I paid for. I returned to an increasingly exasperated front desk person (I understood the feeling) and am now back in the lounge waiting for what and when they might find me a fitting room. Tons of suites etc available for $ and points. It's a screaming deal for 12K points unless they give you the room and service I have had so far. Hard not to think they do not like to honor points redemptions
