Super 8 by Wyndham Hamburg Mitte

The price value balance is perfect! Hotel staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, housekeeping service is quiet good! Most of the people hang out at the lobby at night time and it is fun to spend some time there.
Coffee is for free at the lobby bar.
You can walk to the city center in 30 minutes but that won't be an enjoyable walk.
The nearest metro station is Berliner Tor.

This however was up there which came as a surprise considering how much more affordable it was compared to the others

Although minimum time spent inside the rooms i can assure they were very neat and tidy

Great location for that price and high level of service. Quite satisfied with everything. It was especially nice that bicycle rental was included in the price and we were given them free of charge for the whole day. And the bicycles are of very good quality and in good working order. The room is quite large enough for two. Everything is immaculately clean. Highly recommend. A feature that I have never seen before is self-checking. very convenient technology and easy process. Even very interesting. If you get here, be sure to check in yourself

Lovely staff and quality hotel room for the price. Not a horrific location but small walk to station and not much else going on nearby. I enjoyed this as a tourist being in the sticks though for a little mooch and more day to day stuff going on.

Was surprised how good this place was for the price. Rooms were really clean with maid service every day. Breakfast was great with a huge range to choose from. Staff were friendly and competent. Only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way however, Berliner Tor station is only about 10 mins walk away and taxis are plentiful.

The hotel is situated 5-10 minutes from S-Bahn and U-Bahn, very convenient. Not the perfect location for the beginning of 2024, because of several construction work spots on the way from the hotel to the station.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, tasty breakfast. The rooms have a desk and a chair, which is very convenient for business trips.

The hotel has self-service check-in desks with card payment possibility. Each room has own wifi.

Note for ecology-concerned guests: if you really want your towels not changed each day, hang 'do not disturb' on the door to opt out from cleaning sometimes. Just leaving the towels hang and not dropping them on the floor does not prevent daily laundry exchange.

I was happy with the reasonable prices at this establishment. The cleanliness of the place added to the positive experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, the staff members were not only nice but also helpful. I highly recommend this place for its affordability, cleanliness, and the service

We stayed at this hotel for three nights while visiting Hamburg. It was clean and the reception staff were wonderful. The rooms were quite small however the storage space helped make it feel less cramped. Breakfast was available for a cost. You could order pizza and drinks and socialize in the lobby area. We were able to park our bikes in the camera monitored parking area. The location was fine for us as we could get around on bike. Without a car you would need to rely on public transportation or a car to get around. We felt that it was very expensive for the type of “economy” hotel it is. There was a huge conference in town the weekend we were there so the hotel increased its prices significantly. Our third night cost is over 230 Euros which is outrageous for a Super 8!
