Cocoon Stachus in Munchen

Good location that is less than a 5 minute walk from the central train station and 15 minute walk to old town. The room layout is a little weird. When you walk in the bedroom and shower room is on the left and toilet room and sitting/sofa bed is on the right. The lighting in the bedroom is awful, very dark. There is only a rope led light along the headboard and only 1/2 of it worked. There is a glass window into the shower room from the bedroom. There is no way to cover the window. The toilet room and shower room lights turns on with a motion detector. If you need to use the toilet in the middle of the night, you will trigger the shower light to turn on. Because of the window into the bedroom, you will wake up anyone else in the bedroom. Then there is no way to turn off the light. You just have to wait it out and not move. If you have preteens, teens, or self conscious people showering, everyone else will have to leave the bedroom.
Overall room was clean and beds were comfortable. If they could improve the lighting in the bedroom and allow the bedroom sliding door cover the shower window, it would improve the experience.
