Clean room. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Next to the metro do it is easy to get to the city centre 10 minutes. Easy to get to the airport as well on the S8 or S1.

It's a bit out of the centre, but with trains and trams and buses, it's at most, a 40 minute ride into marienplatz/city centre. Also, a 45 minute train journey from the airport.
Rooms are standard hotel rooms, service was good, reception were helpful.
Location for the backstage music venue was ideal as well as hirschgarten and the botanical gardens a pleasant walk away.

Excellent location next to S-Bahn station. 5 stops from Marienplatz. Clean rooms with toiletries, fluffy white towels, clean bedding, A/C and TV. Kettle and coffee. Quiet rooms. Efficient reception staff. Self service store in lobby with drinks, sandwiches, ice creams, beer wine and toiletries which is very handy.
Would recommend most certainly.

Overall, this hotel is decent. It's located just about 100 meters from the train station, with frequent trains to the city center and other areas. The breakfast was simple (bread, yogurt, boiled eggs, coffee, juice) but of good quality. The room with two beds was small but functional. The air conditioning in the room was excellent; you could easily adjust the fan speed and temperature. Despite the over 25°C heat outside, we could keep the room very cool, and this was probably the first time I didn’t wake up with a sore throat due to the AC.
Now, some downsides. The TV in our room didn’t work, so we reported it to the reception, and they promised to check it out. However, we don’t know if anyone ever looked into it, as the TV remained broken throughout our stay. We had also arranged for a late check-out at 14:00, but after the standard check-out time of 12:00, staff came by several times to see if we had left, even though there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. Additionally, some areas that don’t get cleaned as often might need more attention. For example, the bottom of the kettle was dirty, making it unusable, and there were some stains in the shower grout.
I would have also appreciated having a small fridge in the room. There was a small self-service shop in the hotel lobby (water, soft drinks, beer, wine, candy, crisps, ice cream) but I can’t recommend it due to the extremely high prices. Fortunately, there was a grocery store within a short walking distance from the hotel.
Another point, which isn’t exactly a negative but something to consider, is whether all the hotel staff are familiar with the hotel's policies. The bathroom instructions and general practice suggest that towels hanging on hooks should not be replaced, while those on the floor should be. Despite this, all our towels were replaced during every cleaning.
If you’re just looking for an affordable place to sleep with good transport connections, this hotel will suit you well.

Very nice hotel and just 4 exits via train from the center of town. They serve a great breakfast included with your room. There is plenty of variety for everyone in your party. The room has ice cold a/c, and in many other hotels on our trip, they did not have any a/c. Friendly front desk staff, and they spoke both English and German. Would go back again.

Excellent and clean rooms. The free breakfast was superb! So much to choose from…and for the gluten free community, they have lots to enjoy. The service was wonderful!

This hotel is in an excellent location, and the rooms are modern and clean. However, there are several significant drawbacks that make me hesitant to recommend it:
1. Front Desk Service: The reception staff’s English is not very fluent, making communication difficult. Additionally, their service attitude is not friendly.
2. Housekeeping Issues: On our first day, we left the room without removing the key card. However, when we returned, we found that the key card had been removed and the room was not cleaned. When I called the front desk to express my concerns about safety and privacy, their response was simply to come and get a new key card. My concern was why someone could enter our room without permission and remove the key card.
3. Room Amenities: The room did not have a refrigerator, and due to the shower design, the bathroom floor easily became wet.

THIS HOTEL STAFF HAS NO EMPATHY. Really a nightmare to communicate with them!
I book this hotel through booking.com on 11th May , 6 nights 2 rooms for 1st August 2024. I clearly see that it has free cancellation until 31st July 2024. Shown on attached picture.
Unfortunately, after i booked the room. Booking.com cancellation policy says it is 90% charge. So i immediate contact the hotel and request a cancellation as my travel date is not 100% fix. I ask help many times. They just ignore and tell it is not possible, just ask me to contact booking.com if you thing it has trouble
Then i contacted booking.com, i show the proof. They only say that the hotel is refusing to give waive..
Well, no matter how many times i asked for help. This hotel keep saying no cancellation.
I believe it is bug from booking.com
But hotel should not take advantage on this case. I ask help many times. None of them care.. Its really frustrating. Not even they asked me for proof or try to find solution... I've been in the hotel industry too. I know it is bad if people book and cancel, but the trip is still in 2.5 months...

Totally loved staying here. I'm posting this review a tad bit late, but it doesn't take away from the memorable time I had at this hotel. I was here in the last few days of December 2023, including New Year's Eve.
At first glance, the reception area looked nice and inviting, and the front desk person was friendly, respectful, and spoke good English.
Next up, my room was so comfortable and cozy, and it offered great views of the main road and the buildings across the street. The softness of the mattress and the pillows, as well as the spacing in the room, were much to my liking. Even the washroom area felt great, with bright lighting, catchy interiors, and a large mirror.
The breakfast buffet had a fairly large spread, with many options of bread, juices, jams, and cheese to choose from. The restaurant had plenty of sitting tables, so there was no problem with finding a vacant place to sit, despite the morning rush.
On New Year's Eve, when the hotel staff left for home, they still had one person in charge of the bar, serving drinks and pizzas and soups and whatnot. I ordered a large bowl of tomato soup and a Margherita pizza and had one of the calmest and the most mesmerising evenings in a long time, quietly watching a German football player's documentary on the TV and seeing all the other people enjoy their drinks and reminisce the year about to pass..
Next day, the 1st of January 2024, at exactly 4:00 am, the fire alarm rang. The entire building was empty in the next 10 minutes, and everyone stood outside in the cold, half asleep and confused about what exactly had happened, since there was no visible fire anywhere. Though it was an unexpected and slightly annoying experience, it still added another memory that I will never forget.
So, this brings me to the end of my review. My experience of staying at this hotel was a memorable one, and I would like to return whenever I'm in Munich again. :)

one of the best hotel stays i have had!
ok breakfast - i could cry, i have NEVER had such an amazing breakfast selection. literally for me, 5 star quality aside from, you know, actual 5 star hotels/restaurants.
location - can't be beat i think! whether Bahn or buses, it was perfect to get anywhere! nearby is aldi, etc. and the hirschgarten for a nice stroll.
service - maybe be a little friendlier? but if i had to say something negative, that would be it, no major issues though.
i think it was a great value and would def stay again!
