Hotel Demas City

The hotel is clean and nicely located near the central train station which is why I booked it. I figured it'd be a great way to get around the city for the few days my husband and I were staying here. The staff was also lovely and the breakfast was quality, if a little expensive.

The room is very tight and the bathroom doesn't have a proper door so you better be rooming with your Significant Other for a VERY close friend that you don't mind hears you pooping. Or do anything remotely private.

We didn't have enough room for two suitcases to be stashed neatly and out of the way either. And there's no closet space if you do want to unpack. We ended up piling clothes on the spare chair in the room.

The beds are also a no go. Hard as a rock. My husband said it's an anvil first and bed second. We both woke up really sore every morning. I could feel how tight my stomach and back muscles were. Not good. And it's two twin beds pushed together which means no cuddling at night lest you want to fall through the crack in the bed as the bed moves really easily.

Basically, the size room I had would have been fine with a single bed for a single person. But not a couple staying for 5 days. It was too cramped.

While I wouldn't say it's the worst stay I've had on my 2 months in Europe, it definitely isn't stellar.

Due to work, I'm quite often in Munich and somehow we always tend to stay in different places, I've never had to write comments about a hotel before.
However, BEWARE of this place!!! They're employing extremely rude and ignorant people! Rooms are not clean and hotel is very very compact! No extra facilities, value/price quite poor, there're so many better options around, I'm not staying in the place again...

Although the stay was enjoyable some of the staff are rude. Especially when a friend of mine was charged for cement found on the floor. A ridiculous allegation clearly left by building work but still we've had no response to this and have been left paying €100 euros. Be aware of the charges as this type of thing has been seen before. I'd recommend staying somewhere that doesn't charge for building services.
