The rooms are very basic and quite small, with flat pillows, hard mattresses, and only two small towels. The location is far from the city and feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. It was disappointing that the Wi-Fi was not stable. Also, although it may depend on the location of the room and the time of year, the sounds of motorbikes, cars, and horns were loud in the evening. It is a very nice hotel, not far from the tram and the S-Bahn. Great accommodation, you could book the hotel spontaneously and quickly without any complications. And there is also a very nice sauna that I can recommend. I would love to come back.

The room was clean and good. Unfortunately the windows are not soundproof. If you book this hotel, I recommend that you take earplugs and an eye mask with you.

Nearest tram is out of service, needs to change into bus, only 2 bus an hour. Smoke comes from the closed windows. Breakfast very few choice. Bed is too old, should be replaced. Not house keeping everyday.

Despite some drawbacks of this place — instead of separate beds we had one shared, it was noisy, housekeeping knocked on the door at 9 a.m. even though checkout is at 12 and we wanted to sleep in since we had checked in at 2 a.m., and breakfast was rather average (though we came just before it ended)… the biggest advantage is its walking distance from the train station! And that outweighs all the inconveniences...

The hotel is just 3 minutes walk from Nuremberg hbf on a tranquil street. The hotel staff is nice. The room offers a great view of bustling trains and ICE, without being too noisy.

Good room, quite small but fit well. I like sauna. GYM is very small and 1 defected equipment. Also outdoor Swimmingpool is not good, because it is always not accessible in Winter time in Germany. I liked the brekfast. I didn't like I have to pay for outdoor Garage!!

The best part of this hotel is the location because there’s a station close by right at the corner. Other than that, it’s a basic no frills room that has everything you need. Star was the huge breakfast spread and they have enough seating available. Thankfully it’s clean and our stay was comfortable. Service is good but the wifi was unreliable.

The hotel is located in the old town, with an excellent location. It has its own parking lot. Make an appointment in advance. After arriving, the hotel staff carefully guided us until we parked safely. They were very warm and thoughtful. The room was quite large.

Excellent hotel, just on the outskirts of Nuremberg. The staff is extremely friendly and polite. Breakfast is decent, and they also have a 1* Michelin rated restaurant which was amazing! There is limited parking at the hotel, but there are other free parking options nearby.

The room isn't large, but it matches the price. The surrounding area is quiet and suitable for rest. For tourism, I recommend staying in the city center, but for longer business trips, it's quite comfortable if you have a car. It depends on your needs.

We were invited to dinner here by a friend and it was an experience of our lifetime! Starting with the Lavender Sparkling Wine, the steak tartar small bite, and the foie gras parfait, then the amazing Venison saddle with perfectly prepared sides! All courses served with paired wines. The rooms are very small and the bed/pillow is not the most comfortable. When I arrived I was told my room is in the 4th floor and the elevator only goes up to the 3rd so I had to carry my luggage upstairs. There was nobody from the staff available to offer some help. I think it’s overpriced because of the very central location.

I have stayed there 2 nights 3 days, The room that was given smelled strongly of paint because the hotel was under maintenance. I went to the reception and requested a change of room. I could not stay here because I have asthma. The hotel responded positively to my request.

This hotel is a little bit far away from train station but quite close to the old town. It's a 2 stars hotel therefore, on the whole the cleanliness is acceptable. Situated close to the old town (only few minutes walking distance) the hotel was very easy to find. Near the hotel there was an U ban connecting with the airport and most of the city stations. One kilometer away from the central train station, the location is not as convenient as the Ibis in the old town. There is a supermarket on the left hand side of the door. A typical European hotel, the room is not big and there are no consumables. There is no heater, and the air conditioner is heated.

Some parts of the Schindlerhof Hotel are very pleasant—esp. the Japanese garden and the restaurant. Other elements are somewhat disappointing—e.g. room amenities. No bathrobes. And a “cosmetics bar” where guests are invited to BUY basic amenities like moisturizing lotion. Seems a bit tawdry for a hotel that aspires to ‘luxury’ status.

Kudos to Laura , Tina, and Sanjay for their attentiveness to us. Breakfast is pricey but service is good, elevator is not available for upper floors so you need to make sure you mention this if you need one when booking.

We stayed one night on our way to Austria from The Netherlands and it met the purpose. A no nonsense hotel with a clean room that was well equipped. Stayed here for one night for the Christmas market on 12/22 and enjoyed the two days in Nuremberg. Hotel location was unbeatable! Step outside the hotel and the Christmas market was right there. Room was spacious and comfortable with a window that opens and has great view of the market and area.

Their reception is very friendly and within 5 minutes they assign you a room and other necessary items during check-in, their rooms are good and their service is good. The area of the restaurant is fantastic. The only drawback is the location if we look at every detail, such as the view.
