I have been to this hotel for a business trip. The location is very convenient both to the airport and the office area. the area is quiet while being in a city like Cairo
The staff is very helpful and the service is top. Great rooms, a touch of modernity could be an extra value. Breakfast and dinner very good. Too bad the pool was closed, I hope in my next trip to be able to use it.

For its price, this hotel is not worth it. Clean, but very VERY old and not in a good location.
We took a suite, there's a pillar in the middle of the room placed awkwardly next to the bed. We found a needle in the carpet.
The food is below average. Lasagna was not good.
And the breakfast buffet was fine, but the service was not good at all. The chef forgot my order completely and the waiters are always disappearing.
Overall, I would not recommend it. It's neither budget friendly nor is it placed in a good location.

Nice hotel, has a lovely old atmosphere. Servers try their hardest at the outside cafe. But communication between front desk and the other areas need work. We were told we could have a drink at the cafe outside, but apparently they don’t serve so it was brought from the bar. They didn’t know how to make a G&T which was a surprise, but everyone rallied round and made it happen. Shame the poor guy had to run upstairs everytime we needed a drink or a correction (to the G&T..).
The rooms are older but clean. The views are good. But there definitely needs more upkeep and cleaning when hotel guests have to use the service lifts. The area was filthy.

Stayed for 3 days, 2 days to go. So far pretty good, room is very clean and not old. Service is pretty good. Found good restaurants nearby to eat at walking distance. Breakfast is nice. So far good👍

A very old hotel. Was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I’m a level 3 genius on booking and visited many hotels in nearly 15 countries. The bathroom smelled very bad and the staff were very unprofessional. I will never even think about staying here again!

Has been good choice compared to other hotel with same level ,the room was in good conditions clean and comfortable, hotel workers friendly and helpful , they have professional reception specially Ms.Marwa Ms.Norhan and Mr.khaled actually all of them very nice people.
If I have chance come again in Egypt I will book the same (Baron hotel) .

A baron is not a king, nor a duke and this hotel is typically that: it wants to look and sound like a king but it falls short of this promise. Guests are lured to think it's a great place, but the moment you scratch the surface, you find out failure after failure.
Receptionists are poorly knowledgeable and hardly speak good English, slow and continuously seek instructions from the back office, unable to take decisions fast and efficiently.
Restaurants have a nice view, but hardly offer quality food besides a pretty decent spaghetti Bolognese.
Rooms are small, though offer a decent view over the Baron Palace.
Receptionists are poorly knowledgeable and hardly speak good English, slow and continuously seek instructions from the back office, unable to take decisions fast and efficiently.
