Le Meridien Cairo Airport

I recently stayed at Le Méridien Cairo Airport and overall had a pleasant experience. The hospitality of the staff, especially the bellman team, was outstanding. From my arrival to my departure, they were exceptionally helpful, professional, and kind—truly an asset to the hotel.

A special thanks to Ahmed Mekhimar, Assistant Front Office Manager, who personally called to follow up on my next visit. This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and added a personal touch to the experience.

However, I would like to share some feedback for future improvements:

Smoking Concerns: There was a strong smell of smoke in my room, likely coming from the hallways, which was quite unpleasant. It also affected the experience in the Sports Bar, where the smoke made it less enjoyable for my children.

Dining Experience: I ordered the Mixed Seafood Platter, expecting fresh seafood, but it appeared to be made with frozen ingredients, which was disappointing for a property of this caliber.

Room Charge & Credit Card Issues: My wife was told she couldn’t use the room charge feature due to a lack of credit added to our room, and it would have been helpful if this was clarified during check-in. Additionally, my Marriott Bonvoy Credit Card was unexpectedly declined, causing some inconvenience.

Fridge Not Working: The fridge in our room was not working, which was inconvenient as we needed it to store some items.

Despite these issues, the stay was generally good, and I hope the hotel addresses these concerns for future guests. Thanks again to the staff for their warm hospitality. I look forward to staying here again in the future.
