Empire Beach Resort

What a tragedy. We were at the Empire Aqua Park hotel, and while part of the staff is really nice—like the two gentlemen serving drinks in the dining area—the man standing in the middle of the dining room observing everything (probably a manager) was rude. In every other hotel, you can take food with you for longer trips, so we wanted to make sandwiches since we wouldn't be at the hotel during that time, and we had paid for meals, so we should have the right to use them. We even received instructions from the travel agency to do this. The man came over, started yelling at us, questioning us, and then accusing us of lying and saying he didn’t believe us. He barely spoke English, so we didn’t really understand what he was asking. This kind of "all-inclusive" service makes it a problem to take a few sandwiches for an all-day trip. Of course, you have to pay an extra $30 for a better room—this hotel is a disaster.

The worst hotel to go to, first of all, the managers are not helpful at all as too many lies and promises but nothing. The rooms are not like as in the photo as no health and safety there, water comes from the AC inside the room, the room have a very poor condition. furnitures are very old and fridge is dirty and very smelly, no water given and no toilet soap, shampoo or towels.
The foods offered are not great as restaurant have a very poor services as well and staff not helpful.

I need to say that I went there around 10 am and left 4 pm due to many things there, again the real not what we are looking in the photos

Save your money and book somewhere else , rooms are a disgrace , shower hanging off the wall , curtains barely hanging , bathroom filthy . Reception are is filthy , toilets are filthy , pools filthy , meals !! What can I say … nothing nice about them I’m afraid rice , potatoes, mushed up beans for breakfast , and unfortunately it doesn’t get any better for lunch & dinner , again it’s rice , beans , occasionally a beef or chicken dish . Thank goodness for the pasta as that’s about all I ate with salads .On the plus side the staff are all lovely & helpful , seating area outside is another bad thing , cats are allowed to go up on the dining tables and sleep 🥴only once during my time here did I see the tables being wiped down , the table mats were never washed and always had food debris on them at every meal , we definitely will not be back

1 . Small room with defective Ac, not really clean, the shower water was defect (we get a good room after we pay extra)
2. Very disrespectful personal , considering that they live off our money, we deserve respect , (they don't have a list of cocktails and if you ask what they can offer you, they give you a rude answer, if you ask for something they look angry, they ask for money for everything, even if you are at all inclusiv )
3. Horrible drink and food (Natural juices taste like medicine), the alcoholic drink tastes like 99% alcohol, even if you drink whiskey or rum it has the same taste.

Hotel à fuir ! Don't come in this hotel, it s horrible. Personnel at the reception was not nice and laugh at us in arabic but me and my friend understand everything. The receptionist want us stay at the reception during 2 hours without AC and without one glass of water. The beach is not good, the chaise longue not good at all. Hotel not clean. I prefer not come in holidays than spend time in this hotel. We stay only one day.

Well, where do I start? I like to be positive, so I will start with the staff. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful although Ahmed one of the bar staff was just plain rude and arrogant. The entertainment team were definitely 'tryers' and were so friendly unless you caught them when they were not working, and then they would just ignore you. The pools are small, I wouldn't like to go here in high season as I can imagine there would be no sun loungers as there were not many people there last week and some days you had to find a lounger. The pools are clean, and the lifeguards present love the children and watch what they are up to. The rooms are incredibly tired and need gutting. There is a fridge in each room and a TV and hair dryer, all of which work. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we slept really well. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard. However, we were only given 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel between 2 adults. When you arrive, you are given beach towel cards so you can get fresh beach towels each day from the hut by the sea if you can get the guy off his phone long enough to oblige. The food was OK, very limited. Chicken, beef, and fish and one vegetable dish, rice, potatoes, and pasta. It's pretty much the same thing every lunch and dinner time. The smallest buffet I have EVER come across in an all-inclusive resort. The alcoholic drinks are all local and are pretty rank. The cocktails are their version with whatever squashes, not juice they have available. Nothing is 'on tap' all come in plastic bottles Inc the alcohol, the beer comes in cans, which they pour some into a glass/plastic beaker depending where you are drinking, wine of any kind is not part of the all inclusive package and you have to pay a supplement if you want wine. The evening entertainment leaves something to be desired, and when the 'act' is over the DJ puts on music which is completely inappropriate for children and they really don't care if children are present with song lyrics like 'suck my d!@k' and the words f&@k etc. One lady had a go at the DJ because of this, but it didn't change the type of music he put on. Overall, I wouldn't go back here, and I wouldn't recommend it either. The week before we arrived there was a fire in the apartment block to the left of the swimming pool, there were no smoke alarms or a working fire alarm, people on the second floor were tying bed sheets together so they could escape the room safely. This was a cheapy holiday that we booked last minute and no wonder the hotel was cheap because you wouldn't want to pay much for staying there.
