Our second time at Hotel Cap Negret and it only gets better and better. From checking in to checking out - everything. prefection! The staff always helpful and friendly. The buffet always fresh and delicious

I stayed there in December 2025. The rooms were very clean and the service was very friendly. It's an ideal starting point for cycling tours in the mountains. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town.

Would definitely recommend this hotel if visiting the area. Altea is lovely, lots of classy bars and restaurants. We played golf and were picked up from the hotel. Would recommend unionjackgolf

The food was amazing, plenty of tasty dishes, varied menu. We stayed half board well worth the price. Only criticism you had to pay for water at your table €4. Food at the pool bar was also excellent

Stayed at Cap Negret for a week at the end of October with 7 other family members. 25 degrees! Hotel was great and very clean. Food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful

They worked so hard but seemed happy in their work place. Room’s lovely spotless clean, comfortable beds, clean towels when required. Coffee machine as well as a kettle

Every member of the hotel staff were particularly caring and went over and above to make us feel comfortable

Traditional old school hotel located close to the heart of Altea. Do not be put off by the run down approach to the hotel. As a family with a disabled son we were greeted by warm friendly staff

Large spacious accessible room on the first floor , but the lift access was a little tight, just be aware if you have a larger type wheelchair. Breakfast a little limited but satisfactory

Lunch and dinner menu was excellent. Overall perfect get away and would definitely use again

Happily no competition for these! The hills in Altea are very steep with lots of steps and we were relieved to find that cars can drive right up to the door of La Serena

We went to the hotel restaurant for an evening meal and we were most welcomed and waited on beautifully. Our starter and main meal were both delicious, accompanied by great wine choices too

A beautiful spot in Altea 👍 We visited the place during Easter with massage and spa and have stayed over a couple of times and it never disappoints you ! Spa, massage and nice rooms

, beach chairs and an umbrella, we were surprised to find a beach cool bag. We appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and cava and the starter cleaning kit (dishwasher tab, bin bags, dishcloth, dish soap, etc)

The beach was ideal for our family: although a bit steep and covered with pebbles and stones, making it less suitable for small children, it was peaceful and uncrowded. The turquoise water was breathtaking

Lovely clean room. We were very comfortable here and there are facilities to ale tea/coffee and toast. Right next to the tram station. Really close to the old town and the beach. Highly recommend.

Check in is super chill, right next to the bus stop and tram station relieving a lot of stress from travel if you are relying on transport

This beautiful little hotel is the ultimate hidden gem!! Rooms are beautiful, staff and owners are humble, beautiful people that can’t do enough for you! The gardens are a peaceful hideaway of fruit trees full of bananas, oranges, lemons & avocados with peaceful hammocks to while away the hours 🍋 🍊🍌🥑 Homemade cakes baking in the oven every morning made from all the beautiful fruit!! We stayed here for 3 nights (1st July-4th) but wish it had been longer. Stayed in Jacaranda room which was perfect

Nothing special from the road bit once you get in it's so quirky,bohemian type of feel. There are only 6 rooms,we had one with a huge terrace,we could have had a party

Amazing staff, helpful and familiar. The food is really good (well worth a visit even if you dont stay in the hotel). The breakfast buffet is in itself reason enough to stay in the hotel

The room was super clean,sorted every day, could have done with some uk tv programmes on the tv as i didn't go out much after dark, the food was excellent, loved the breakfast every morning

All very well. The room was new and clean. Very good breakfast. You can hear the cars a little when passing on the national highway but it is not a problem for sleeping.

Traditional furniture doesn't bother us and it made a nice change from the clinical look you normally get in a hotel. We were bed and breakfast, it was superb, everything you could think of and Cava if you wanted it

Vending machines available in reception and rooftop. Live music, DJ and singers were performing during our stay. A bigger pool would be a great addition for a proper swim. The gym has singular, basic equipment

You can't get nicer staff than here at the Kaktus Hotel. We were badly let down on an apartment and we called in to see if they had any vacancies

A really friendly man on reception found us a fabulous room, with a fantastic sea view. The room was really large and although older furnishings as others have said, it was spotless

Second time staying here and it was wonderful again. Everything about the hotel is great. Staff are lovely, bed and pillows very comfy. Didn’t eat at the hotel as so many places close by.

Breakfast is great, always with some variation in the menu so it doesn't get boring, but with consistency in the basic items. Finally, I thought the spa circuit was excellent! Really a gem

all the spaces in the hotel are very clean. hotel is close to restaurants and shops. the breakfast buffet is very nice with a lot of choice. the hotel has a cafetaria where you can get hot and cold drinks

My stay at this hotel was very pleasant, even though to begin with it was really confusing to navigate. I would suggest two minor improvements for new guests on arrival; 1

In fact all public and private rooms are noisy, with naked walls and floors, but I was lucky and had very quiet neighbors most of the time. So all in all: If you expect 2-3 Star hotel standard this is probably OK

Stayed a few days with a group. Had a great stay, but not mainly because of the hotel. The positives: Good location with nice views if you don't mind the short walk up the hill from the very nice beach area

The only negative I have, was that our flight getting to Alicante was delayed leaving Luton, so by the time we got to Alicante it was 1:30am and by the time we got to our hotel it was 3:45am, but that’s the only complaint I’ve got

The entertainment team is definitely the best part of the holiday, I came with my younger cousins and other family and even though me and one of my cousins are teenagers they still involved us in a lot

We stayed the week before halloween so there was some halloween theme entertainment which everyone loved especially the halloween show and the black party after it - Manel even got up and danced with us which we all found funny

The food wasn’t the best but it is worth what you pay - it can just get a bit old but I managed to find something i like still and I don’t mind having the same things at times

There wasn’t much entertainment in the day however, but every time Harrison was working the day there was always something going on

My wife and I spent a lovely long weekend at SHA in Spain. The mix of wellness and clinical facilities gave us the ideal opportunity both to relax and improve our health and lifestyle

Not sure what this was but we all kept getting small glass splinters in our feet, hands and all stuck in our clothing! We had to buy tweezers from the on site shop because the kids had so many glass splinters in them that we were struggling to get them out! It made it really hard and uncomfortable and had to keep stopping when we were out to pull splinters out of the kids’ feet because they couldn...

Year old in our arms when suddenly the floor was gone from beneath my feet and the water went from waist height to about 7 foot deep! The lifeguard had to jump in and pull my son out while I swam to the edge! The lifeguard was the best part of the whole stay, he was so so lovely and we saw him teally save another 2 people from drowning doing the exact same with with baby in arms! He said that it happens...

The animation team/entertainment team try there hardest to please everyone, with a verity of activities throughout the day and into the evening, there are extra activities which are at an extra cost, which you can book on there website/app or at reception, the only activity I wouldn't recommend is the ice skating, as it's only plastic and un-skateable, so unfortunately a complete waste of money

The worst part was the pools! They were ridiculously deep without any kind of warning, there were slides which we assumed were for young children as they had little steps and a small chute, we witnessed a 6nywar old boy go down the slide and very nearly drown at the bottom as the water was about 6-7 foot deep at the bottom of the slide!! I was walking in one of the pools with my 2

Why is there no warning of how deep the water is!? The pool with the slides is about 6 foot deep all round and you’re not allowed to take rubber rings in there so my kids couldn’t use that pool at all!! The softplay isn’t even worth mentioning because it’s the most pathetic softplay I’ve ever seen

There was no labels on the freshly cooked meat too so I couldn’t tell what was what and when myself and others were asking which meat was which the chef was rude in answering. The resteraunt is dark and dingy too

The hotel itself is beautiful but would have prefered it if it was Adult only. Enjoyed the Spa but had to pay think it would be better to have at least once to go free. Should not need to pay for car parking either

There were no instructions on how to operate anything My only issue was that there was no crockery, plates, cutlery, pans etc. this stupidly had to be ordered from reception

Fabulous hotel. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff. We were able to keep our room longer on check out day as a Barcelo member, which was great as we had a late evening flight. Had a suite as 3 of us which was perfect.

My daughter took me to this hotel for a few days for my birthday last week. the spa, the gardens and pools, breakfasts and the staff were brilliant. The weather was atrocious but we didn’t care

Bedroom, staff and breakfast buffet are excellent, dinner buffet could improve. Temperature of dinner buffet food is cold and sometimes sandy. Disappointing.

We only stayed for one night, but this was enough time to appreciate that this is a high quality hotel at a good price. Lovely lunch and breakfast.

Few more shades maybe? Loads of onsite parking. Didn’t use the spa or gym but smelt great! Two free drinks per day with premier package was great as well

Most of the staff in the restaurant were friendly, but one older gentleman was rude. He didn't provide us with glasses for our drinks. Overall, we rate this hotel highly

Another highlight for me was the location 📍 – just a 20-minute walk to the beach 🏖️, perfect for getting my daily steps in 🚶‍♀️. For those who prefer not to walk, there are plenty of affordable taxis 🚖 and buses 🚌

The staff were incredibly helpful 😊, and the hotel was spotless ✨. I loved that the pool 🏊‍♀️ was open from 10:00 to 20:00, and on my very first morning I saw the team cleaning it thoroughly before opening 🧹

This was the third year myself and a couple of friends have spent the weekend here. The hotel is lovely rooms are fine, the only suggestion I could make is that it would be nice if the bedrooms had a kettle in them

Great Hotel This was my first time in this hotel and i have to say from the minute i came in to the minute i left i could not fault anything ,location perfect in a quite area 15/20 minutes easy walk to beach,3 minutes to bars restaurants and shops ,Hotel spotless ,food good selection entertainment good and all the staff where so friendly nothing a problem

Helpful friendly staff in a safe comfortable and clean property. Food was good, fresh and well cooked. A little bit out of central benidorm which is what we wanted as it was a very family friendly hotel

Did not feel the need to eat out at a restaurant when this all inclusive food was that good! They had steak and kebabs on some of the days! Drinks are great with very generous alcohol pourings

Only had breakfast but a nice good choice, drinks at bar cheap too and a lovely terrace/pool area. Nice atmosphere and not rowdy in the hotel areas would return again

We had an amazing stay on this campsite. The site itself is very well kept and all facilities are spotless. The reception staff were very helpful, and a special shout out to pavlo in the bar who was brilliant

We arrived to a lovely welcome at reception, very speedy and informative process. The site is well situated within walking distance to the centre of Benidorm, although we used our bikes a lot

All the pitches are well maintained and level, the site is a 5 min walk from the entertainment end of Benidorm and the best but is no pets are allowed, so no yapping handbag dogs everytime you pass a camper, motorhome or caravan

The site itself is very well maintained and the facilities were immaculate (showers and toilets etc) Pool area is beautiful and relaxing We ate at the bar and the food was lovely, friendly staff and good service We have already booked to return (something we don’t normally do as we like to go to different places) Thank you all and looking forward to coming back!!

Fantastic site with great facilities, showers, toilets, laundry room, pool areas, bar and supermarket were all immaculately clean and the staff were superb

Booked our caravan in for a stay whilst touring around France and Spain for the summer. My daughter wanted to see Benidorm. This site was VERY reasonably priced, we had a plus pitch which had water and drainage on it

The pitches were well shaded with a tarpaulin over the top, which was a great relief as the Benidorm weather in July was HOT! two very small pools that seemed more geared up for kids to splash about in, so we didn't use them so cant comment

There is a burger bar which looked SO good (we didn't use it we were out more than in) but there were a lot of people there and they were taking deliveries too so clearly very popular

There was advertised free WiFi but I couldn't seem to get the password to work, I wasn't bothered we went out and about most of the time

It took 15 mins to walk to the Levante beach and like 10 mins to walk to the ***** in either direction

Lovely hotel. Has everything you need. The only thing that would have made it would be a kettle. The breakfast was very nice and the drinks were good value. Comfy beds and powerful shower. Highly recommend

We stayed in a deluxe room in the 2nd block. The room was large and had everything we needed, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. No problem with sunbeds.would happily stay again.

I didn't use the spa or some of the facilitues, but was really impressed with the hotel. Check in was easy and the rooms clean. The breakfast was really good and catered to multiple nationalities

The pool area was good with plenty of beds despite people queuing then stampeding at stupid o'clock for the best spots. We would watch them every morning from our balcony at how stupid they all looked

Food was plentiful, good choice of meats etc; you would always find something to eat. However on the second week of our stay it looked liked it was repeated in different dishes with different names
