I stayed there in December 2025. The rooms were very clean and the service was very friendly. It's an ideal starting point for cycling tours in the mountains. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town.

Stayed at Cap Negret for a week at the end of October with 7 other family members. 25 degrees! Hotel was great and very clean. Food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. A convenient 10 minute walk from Altea and a couple of minutes walk from the bus and tram stops. A lovely hotel in a perfect location. Due to it being an old building it does however bring with it both good and not so good aspects. On the positive it’s a beautiful hotel with a laid back vibe to it. Our group of 15 cyclists enjoyed the service and the excellent staff. The food ranged from good to very good. The rooms could use updating. The mattresses, in particular, are in dire need of replacing. Excellent hotel with clean rooms and facilities in a quiet location with a short walk down to the beachfront. The dining and menu options were excellent, we were never bored of the choices provided and the staff were kind and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing stay.

We've booked this for the past 2 years, absolutely no issues with the resort. Always clean, themed restaurants are brilliant quality, the buffet restaurant is equally good. Although I would book the ultra all inclusive as you can skip the ques for the bars which can get busy. Disappointing stay for a 4 star sup. Air conditioning didn't work. When it rained the lobby ceiling leaked, the entertainment area has no atmosphere, the gym is tiny, outdoor pool was freezing and the indoor pool was too deep.

The hotel is located away from the beach, but everything you need is nearby. The food was delicious, but breakfast was the same every day. Most of the staff in the restaurant were friendly, but one older gentleman was rude. He didn't provide us with glasses for our drinks. Overall, we rate this hotel highly. From the moment we arrived at the spotless, modern reception area we were greeted by the most helpful male receptionist. Positives; nice room, pool view, great location. Negatives; check in 4pm, 2 Euro 50 for bottle of water with your meal. I am an able bodied single traveller but was put in a disabled room. Stayed here for a few days on a full board package. Rooms were nice and food was decent enough. Not the hugest choice of food but what's there is tasty and well worth it for what you pay. Only a couple of downsides- apart from breakfast you have to pay for any drinks you want at lunch/dinner (even water), and the glass on the balcony wasn't clean. Location is decent for the beach and the strip.

I would recommend more focus on cleaning in general (rooms, corridor, elevators etc). Second recommendation is to handle food proper way. Watermelon should not taste onion. Cold food should not be warm etc.

This is the fifth time we've stayed at Port Benidorm. Beautiful, modern hotel. Comfortable, well maintained rooms cleaned and towels changed daily. Great food. Great location. Great value. Cheerful, helpful, efficient staff. Clever lift allocation system, so even at the busy times you aren't waiting ages for one. We'll certainly be back next year.

Have stayed at the Ambassador 4 years in a row now. Rooms are always clean and a high standard. Service is always friendly and polite. Hotel is right on the strip, with everything you could want within walking distance. Just felt this year that the food was not as varied as previous years nevertheless a great hotel to stay at.

The first thing to note is that a transfer coach won't drop you off or pick you up from the hotel due to the tightness of the access road. The resort had loads to do! The zoo is fantastic, the waterpark is great! The resort also puts on a free bus to take you to into Benidorm. There is also an app which shows you whats on everyday so you can plan your days. We also paid extra for a hot tub and all inclusive plus which were both well worth the money. I really love this place it was our second time coming and we are looking at coming back in October i think this might be our yearly place to come the staff are amazing but the member who stood out was Teresa Moreno she was always happy to help and went above and beyond always had a smile on her face
