Hygiene: The floor was not clean. We spilled water and used paper towels to wipe the water, but the paper towels were covered with dust and hair. The actual resort is fine but the apartment we stayed in was lacking in a few areas. We actually had to purchase several things just to manage the week. Definitely needs to be addressed.

I've been a few times over the years and it's lovely. Friendly staff and immaculately kept. The spa circuit is fantastic and we'll worth coming just for that. Massage and spa treatments also really good at reasonable prices.

We've stayed for 7 nights in the hotel and really enjoyed it. The location is simply amazing, very near the beach, great restaurants and shops. The staff has a great attitude to always help you find a solution. Breakfast is great, always with some variation in the menu so it doesn't get boring, but with consistency in the basic items. Lovely place to stay for a family of four in a 2 bed apartment. The rooms a little small but quite adequate. The apartments are up some quite steep hills around 1km from the beach and restaurants so might be tough with young children unless you have a car. We’ve been going to Albir hills apartments since they opened, we can’t get enough of the relaxing pool area and amazing service. We bring our dog with us and they even provide us with a cute pet package with Multiple useful things for our pup 😊 10/10

Went first week December. I was a bit concerned as my wife has coeliac disease and previous guests suggested gluten free food was non existent. We spent 4 nights at the hotel and generally had a good experience. The hotel was well situated close to the beach and amenities. However the design of the bathroom really spoilt our stay. Be warned that the glass partition wall provided no privacy when performing natural functions. For all the hotel's good points this design would prevent us from a return visit.

Absolutely fantastic people (Mabel @restaurant) and services. By default there are limited veg options but the chef and restaurant staff made special veg meals for us every meal day and night. Loved the taste, plenty of food.. good combination of zoo and amazing water park. Don’t need to go out of the resort much. Just wished there were more convenient to and fro from the airport. Beautiful family all-inclusive hotel waterpark and zoo. Access to these is almost direct from the hotel. Great food, great location, a little outside of Benidorm, but a short taxi ride or the hotel bus will take you to the old town or the beach. Queues for drinks can get a little long in peak school holiday times. The pizza delivery to your lodge is great but has to be booked early. Really good option...

Love the different choice of foods and also drinks. Also the lodge was lovely and clean. Mini bar refilled very day. The zoo and water park were the added bonus. Could go in as many times as u liked during ur stay. Also the snack bar in the water park gave you free food with ur all inclusive band. Sunbeds were included on the all inclusive as well at the water park.

Just returned from a stay at the Diplomatic Hotel, Really nice hotel and food and very clean, just be careful if you staying in the back as there is a hotel opposite that has a loud air con unit going all night which keeps you awake. All the staff were very nice and helpful, would definitely stay there again, Nice central location.

Stayed in this hotel 2 years ago with friends and we had a great experience, staff helpful, restaurant meals lovely. But unfortunately I’ve done a solo trip this year and how Benidorm has changed but not for the better. The hotel felt homely as you entered the reception area. Rooms were cleaned daily with a change of sheets and towels. Restaurant was roomy and plenty of food choices. Entertainment was really good. Most definitely we would stay there again and highly recommend the Diplomatic Hotel without a doubt.

Went here for the 2nd time at Christmas as hotel is lovely four of us. Beautiful Xmas decorations and food was good. Entertainment is not for us as they cater mainly for over 80s. Duo singing very boring. Rooms are fine except they allow dogs who owners let them bark constantly or leave the pets to bark no thought for others. Maid left our balcony door wide open one day so watch out for this error...

Nice hotel. Stayed for 3 nights. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. Could do with up grading but ample for a weekend break. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here as part of a large group of Brits celebrating a birthday. It was perfect for what we needed. The location is excellent for getting to the Old Town, The New Town and The Beach. The staff are amazing and really helpful, the location is great for the old town and the new town. The facilities are of a very high standard, with great views from the rooms, very child friendly with lots to do for the children and a children's nursery for up to 11s in the evening. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay again 5⭐s from me

This is a perfect hotel 10/10 super clean great food and choice staff excellent. Highly recommend beaches are super clean. The old town is great for a traditional Spanish holiday. Or the strip for much more lively holiday. You must go don't be put off by past ratings of benidorm it's beautiful.

The hotel has more than 10 floors, but only 3 very small lifts. Not ideal for a family with prams and suitcases. Rooms are a good size but a little dated. The staff were all polite and friendly. Not too far from the beach and bars and restaurants. The spa area was really good value for money.
