The location is pretty much perfect. Plenty of restaurants around and very active night and tourist life. 500 m to Sol.
Room was large enough for us 3. Wooden floor was stylish.
Noise from the street wasn't too bad at night. Fridge was working. TV too. Bathroom was sufficient size. Everything was clean.
Breakfast room at the rooftop was nice. Breakfast itself was quite decent.

With big rooms and clean utensils, it is a price-performance hotel. Plus, very friendly and helpful receptionists. We loved it. They even helped us to find another place in a close place for our extra 2 nights. Thanks Amar. 🙌

The front desk clerk was so polite and knowledgeable. He truly does have a passion for the area and a great deal of knowledge on how to get around. He offered us a map and took time to tell us about popular destinations in the area and where to take pictures along with some history about the hotel.
The room we got was a 4 bed with a bathroom. (I don't know if all the rooms come with a bathroom). The bathroom was clean along with the room. AC available in the room.
When I come back I'm definitely going out of my way to book here again.

We had a very good experience staying in Casual del teatro Madrid. We travelled with our 10 months baby but the staff tried their best to help us and provided us with some baby package. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and made us a memorable time in Madrid.

Hotel was centrally located. Was clean and maintained pretty well. Staff was super friendly. The room was large enough for two people to walk around. Bathroom was large. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good and view atop hotel was nice. For the price it was a steal.

Very kind and attentive staff, good breakfast, perfect location, comfy beds and big clean bedroom and bathroom! We found the perfect hotel to come when we are in Madrid!

It's a sweet little spot with good sized rooms, some with a terrace (a friend's) or small balcony (mine). Attractive neo-classical 20s building, this ain't the Ritz (it's a few blocks away) but very good for the money -- getting value here. Onsite breakfast, rooftop terrace, GREAT front desk, friendly and competent. PLUS in an amazing district full of dizzying alleys, nightlife, art, and every kind of food. La Venencia is down the alley at #7 -- Hemingway drank here. Trippy cool place it, like going back in time...

The hotel is centrally located. It is a few steps away to Puerta Del Sol, 500 meters from Gran Via, and very close, as well to Plaza Mayor. The people at the reception were also very helpful. The room is clean and linens and towels were fresh. I recommend this hotel to those looking for inexpensive but good accommodation.

Great location! You're at a walking distance from everything. The staff was very friendly. There was one lady in particular who was so incredibly nice and helpful, Mikaela!! Spacious room, I would say the only thing that was missing was a fridge. Very good overall experience.
