Great central and friendly accommodation.

Very pleasant hotel, albeit not in the very center of Madrid. Very clean and well-maintained. Our room was all right, but located in the basement, which made it feel somewhat dingy. Upon arrival we wanted to get something to eat at the bar while waiting for the room to be cleaned. However, the wait was inacceptable. Breakfast is more like 3*. Probably too expensive for what it offers, but unforfunately Madrid hotels are quite expensive.

The hotel is located in what we found to be a quiet tourist area, yet centrally located, right next to a small park with a playground. It's only 2 minutes to the San Bernardo metro station, and about 5 minutes to the Bilbao station, which has many restaurants. We were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready, and again on our day of departure. The lobby is very nice, with plenty of seating. The rooms are functionally furnished but offer plenty of space. The double bed was comfortable, as were the pillows, and everything was very clean. The bathroom has shower gel, shampoo, and body lotion, as well as other toiletries. It's a bit noisy; we could especially hear the shower in the adjoining room, as if someone was showering in our room. However, since it was in use during normal hours, it didn't bother us. The breakfast buffet is excellent and offers something for every taste. The staff is very friendly.

Great location and on a quiet street. Hotel staff, bar staff and housekeeping all went above and beyond our expectations. Short walk to Metro stop and excellent dining locations. Breakfast each day was fresh, tasty and a joy. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this reasonably priced 4 star hotel. Any return to Madrid will certainly include staying here.

Very poor service, lack of customer service and after asking for help with my luggage they refused to help me. The facilities are old but clean.

During my recent t visit to Spain, I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel. As someone who owns hotels in the United States, I have a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and I must say that this property exceeded my expectations.

What impressed me the most was the exceptional professionalism, kindness, and courtesy shown to both my wife and me by the entire staff. From the front desk team to the housekeepers, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed. The breakfast offered each morning was excellent, and I chose to dine at the hotel's restaurant for all three dinners during our stay. The food was outstanding, reasonably priced, and the waitstaff provided impeccable service, treating us with great respect and warmth.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Spain, especially travelers from the United States, who will appreciate the high standards of hospitality and service.
