Great location and on a quiet street. Hotel staff, bar staff and housekeeping all went above and beyond our expectations. Short walk to Metro stop and excellent dining locations. Breakfast each day was fresh, tasty and a joy. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about this reasonably priced 4 star hotel. Any return to Madrid will certainly include staying here.

During my recent t visit to Spain, I had the pleasure of staying at the hotel. As someone who owns hotels in the United States, I have a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and I must say that this property exceeded my expectations.

What impressed me the most was the exceptional professionalism, kindness, and courtesy shown to both my wife and me by the entire staff. From the front desk team to the housekeepers, everyone made us feel genuinely welcomed. The breakfast offered each morning was excellent, and I chose to dine at the hotel's restaurant for all three dinners during our stay. The food was outstanding, reasonably priced, and the waitstaff provided impeccable service, treating us with great respect and warmth.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Spain, especially travelers from the United States, who will appreciate the high standards of hospitality and service.

Generally a nice hotel with friendly and hardworking staff. The reception area, the lounge and bar areas are very nice and are a nice place to relax with a drink.
The area is close to the centre and a short walk to the metro which is ideal.
There are two lifts that are quite antiquated and don't hold many people.
The basement breakfast area was not big enough for the number of guests dining. The guy on the front desk was incredibly hard working.
Regarding the room.
The beds were very comfortable with good solid mattresses.
The air con worked a treat for us and was easy to control.
Generally clean but not perfect.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
There was a big issue with the walk in shower. No seal on the bottom of the door and very poor drainage meant that on night 1 the bathroom flooded. I had to mop it up with 3 bath towels and when I called reception, the guy wasn't in the least but interested. The towels were hung in the bathroom to dry but it was a disaster.
The second night we had to wedge a towel under the door to stop the bathroom flooding again.
I was told the hotel was fully booked, and as it was a short stay I let it go.

Would I stay again? Yes.

Stayed for one night last week.

Location was 15 minutes walk from where I needed to be that evening, which was perfect. Close enough to lots of nice places to eat, metro etc.

The hotel clearly used to be lavish and grand but suffers a little from not being updated in the public areas. HOWEVER - the rooms were great. I was a solo traveller so I booked a single room, which was smaller than I envisaged but for the price was pretty much bang on for a capital city hotel. Bed was comfortable, had everything I needed supplied - shower gel, soap etc - and it was very clean and tidy.

The service at the front desk was fantastic, they spoke perfect English and put me at ease given I don’t speak any Spanish despite my best attempts!

Breakfast cost extra but what a breakfast! Churros, cake, champagne, continental AND bacon, eggs etc? INCREDIBLE.

Will absolutely stay again if I’m in Madrid. Thanks guys.

Had a pleasant two night stay! The man and woman at reception were so kind and let me change my room after the first night as it was situated in front of the street and was quite noisy. They let me choose another room for the following day and everything was great! Thank you so much 💗

However, upon checkout, one lady at reception was very unkind and did not let me leave my luggage for a few minutes. She was very adamant and quite rude about there being no space left, even if it was just to leave a small cabin sized roll on to buy a coffee outside. The male receptionist in glasses was more polite and friendly and offered to watch my bags for a bit.

The hotel has an elegant reception area, with a lot of wood, the staff is very kind, the rooms are spacious. There are certain defects that appear with use - closing the bathroom door, clogging the sink - which should be checked and corrected

Very good hotel in terms of quality/location/price.
Located slightly north from main tourist sites, but with a metro station 3 min away (San Bernardo) everything's close.
Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with a very nice park just across the entrance.
Staff was very kind, fast check in and room with everything we needed.
Breakfast was expensive, we didn't take it so cannot comment it. However, many eateries and coffee shops around the block.
Hotel to recommend

Nice hotel in a good location for exploring central Madrid. Fixtures and fittings looking a little tired, but very clean and the staff were excellent. Underground secure parking is available nearby at around 20 euros a night, so a bit pricey. We only ate breakfast at the hotel, which was the standard fare, but good quality.
