This was my worst hotel experience ever. It was so bad that I had to cancel my reservation and find another place to stay. I wish I had the option to give a negative star rating.

We had reserved two suite rooms and were assigned to Rooms 16 and 31. Both rooms felt damp, unclean and outdated, with AC units that didn’t cool properly, and low water pressure.

Room 31 – This was an absolute nightmare. It was extremely humid, and the AC didn’t cool at all. The staff brought us two fans, but they didn’t help. Opening the window wasn’t an option because many mosquitoes would fly in. There was black mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom, a cracked wall, and a dirty rug. The room was so warm and damp that we were sweating as if we’d been swimming. It was simply unacceptable.

Room 16 – It was slightly more acceptable since it’s on the second floor. However, you have to open the window to avoid sweating, which means dealing with a lot of mosquito bites. The door lock was either extremely complicated or just broken—we got stuck in the room three times and had to ask staff to unlock it for us from the outside.

The hotel itself is old and rundown. The staff tried to be helpful, but they couldn’t compensate for the poor condition of the hotel. Both my family and I ended up with numerous mosquito bites. It’s hard to understand how other visitors could give this place a 4-5 star rating.

The only good thing is the location is great, but you can totally find other way better options than this hotel.

We wanted to cancel both rooms but were only able to cancel Room 31 and get a refund. We were so relieved and happy to stay at another hotel instead.

I do NOT recommend this hotel. I booked using an app called Safara, the hotel was advertised as having 2 twin size beds, listed as a deluxe double room, and the picture posted was of the suite style. LOOK AT pictures attached for what was advertised vs what we got!

Upon checking in, i immediately notified the hotel receptionist of the room discrepancy. The receptionist wore many hats might i add, for example she was the receptionist, manager, bellman, kitchen aid, and housekeeping. She directed me to the manager Sandra who would be in the following day and also an employee of many hats. Sandra advised there were no other twin size room units available, and that the room type matched their room description of a room with a full size bed, pictures attached.

I had been coming from a weeklong stay in Italy, so myself and my mother had many bags which hardly fit in the room. The room was so small that we could hardly walk around, And also had no water, no tissues, no toiletries, such as lotion, conditioner cotton balls etc. All they provided for you was exactly 2 large towels, two medium size towels, shampoo, body wash, and a hand wash, That’s it. If You plan to stay here be prepared to bring all Necessary items. Along with the lack of toiletries, there was also Not enough charging outlets or an elevator. The kind receptionist offered to take our suitcases up almost 7 flights of steps by herself which was very kind. I put in a request for An iron and it didn’t arrive for almost an hour later, As they only have one housekeeper working and you must request housekeeping every day by 11 AM or else you will not receive.

I’m not sure why this hotel was ranked so high on the app, but I think the best Attribute was its proximity to the train and tram station, which was literally less than a five minute walk.
