Best Western Premier Kapital Opéra Hotel

Check-in was good. We were asked to give a credit card for 50 euro deposit for the mini bar, which would be refunded on departure. On departure, we were asked about the mini bar, and we had said that we did not consume any items. The gentleman said thank you all.is taken care of. Five days later, we checked our credit card account and noticed that there were 2 items charged to our account for the same amount and on the same day. On investigation, the hotel charged our account twice for the mini bar. We contacted the hotel, and they reversed both charges immediately. Please ask for a credit note when leaving the hotel. We booked a standard room and were upgraded to a classic room. The room was comfortable and clean and found the staff hospitable. The location was close to the railway station.

My stay at Hôtel Mayflower Opéra Paris was nothing short of delightful! From the moment I arrived, the staff's warm welcome and attention to detail made me feel instantly at ease. The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect—nestled in the heart of Paris, just a stone’s throw from the iconic Opéra Garnier and the bustling Grands Boulevards. It’s also within walking distance of world-class shopping destinations like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, not to mention plenty of charming cafés and restaurants. The metro and bus stations nearby made getting around the city a breeze. The room was cozy, impeccably clean, and wonderfully quiet—ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. A truly memorable Parisian experience!

Pros:

Friendly Staff:
The staff here are incredibly welcoming and go above and beyond to assist, even helping us with an event booking that wasn’t their responsibility.

Spacious Room:
The room is generously sized, with a large bed that’s more comfortable than those in similar hotels we’ve stayed at.

Relaxing Décor:
The room’s interior is soothing and modern, with cool colours and a light, airy feel.

Amenities:
The room includes a fridge and a safe, which are convenient for longer stays.

Location:
The hotel is well-situated in a nice neighbourhood, with easy access to local attractions and amenities.

Cons:

Temperature Control:
The AC in the room was constantly on, making it uncomfortably cold at times with no way to adjust it properly.

Bathroom Issues:
The bathroom door didn’t close properly due to a misaligned frame, and the overhead shower wasn’t working, which was disappointing.

Room Placement:
Despite requesting a high-level room, we were placed on the third floor, which didn’t meet our expectations.

Garden View:
The “garden view” was underwhelming, as it overlooked a small area with potted plants, not a real garden.

Towel Quality:
The towels provided were marked and stained, which was surprising and not up to standard.

Overall, while the hotel has its drawbacks, the friendly staff and comfortable room made our stay pleasant enough. With a few improvements, this place could be a much better option.

very good hotel clean, the staff is nice, specifically the Mrs.Asma At the reception and Mrs. Chef Amal. The price is flawed against the size of the rooms as well as the lack of parking, but it provides debit cards for parking near it.

The service from most of the hotel staff is extremely great, especially ASMA and JAMES!

ASMA always treats people with a warm smile and attentive service! Her service attitude is impeccable!

JAMES went out of his way to help us, even though it was a very small request, he still tried his best to help us fulfil it! He also took the initiative to warmly ask if we wanted tea or coffee as we arrived late! His service deserves good reviews!

Even though the room is relatively small, you can’t beat the price and the view in 8th district like this hotel! The bed is extremely comfortable, we actually rank the bed 5/5 compared to all of other hotels. The staff is okay but the services they provide are standard so nothing to complain about.

NIce rooms with beautiful French balcony, great location with 5 minutes walk to the metro. The receptionists, kitchen staff and housekeepers are so friendly and professional, I would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Paris, and we would absolutely come back again!
