Reviews
The atmosphere inside feels chaotic. Large groups of tourists arrive at the same time, filling the lobby with crowds of people sitting around and waiting. The result is constant noise and overcrowding.
The hotel itself feels old and poorly maintained. The bathroom doors don’t lock properly and sometimes open on their own. The bathrooms are so tiny that even young people struggle to get in and out of the shower, which could be dangerous for older guests.
There are no complimentary amenities such as coffee or a kettle in the room. Instead, there’s only a coin-operated coffee machine, which is highly impractical for families or larger groups. There is a bar with drinks and coffee, but the staff were cold and unwelcoming—so much so that it felt like they wanted us to leave immediately. We tried it once and avoided it afterwards.
The rooms are very small, and overall the experience was disappointing. We stayed at another Ibis in Paris at the beginning of our trip, and that hotel was excellent—the complete opposite of this one. We honestly don’t understand how there can be such huge discrepancies between hotels of the same chain.
I work in the travel industry, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had.
I booked a room on Booking.com.
My first impression was already negative — the entrance is confusing and, I’d say, not safe. If you’re walking there at night, it’s very dark and smells like urine.
As soon as I entered my room, I noticed it looked nothing like the pictures. The furniture was old, the bathroom was tiny, and it wasn’t very clean.
But the worst part? I woke up early, excited to fulfill a dream of visiting Disneyland — only for that dream to turn into a nightmare: BEDBUGS. On my pillow, everywhere in the bed!
The hotel only changed my room. They asked me to put my clothes in the laundry, but said I’d get them back in two days. I left the hotel the next day.
Communication among the staff was terrible. When I returned from Disneyland to get the keys to my new room, they had no idea what I was talking about. No one showed any effort to provide recovery service or change my experience as a customer.
Anyway, they eventually gave me another room — but I was too traumatized to sleep in the bed. I didn’t even take a shower because there was hair in the bathtub. I ended up sleeping on a wooden chair.
To make things worse, I wasn’t even able to leave a review on Booking.com — the option to rate my stay simply never appeared.
The entry to the hotel is bizarre and extremely inconvenient. Taxis can’t even drop you off close – you have to walk a good distance, take a smelly old elevator to the top of a separate building, and then walk again just to reach the hotel entrance.
The room itself was a disappointment: tiny, with no coffee machine, and no kettle. The TV remote didn’t work either – turns out the battery had corroded inside. Gross.
The windows were dirty, the room felt old and neglected, and the bathroom had no door, which meant the entire floor got soaked after every shower. It was far from comfortable.
Honestly, the only nice part of the hotel is the ground floor lobby area, and that alone is probably what earns this place a 3-star rating. But everything beyond that is downhill. Definitely would not recommend.
