The check in at Hotel Thissio was great, early as needed, staff are very friendly smiley and helpful even if language might be a barrier for some, the service is good (4 pts) ! Location and views are amazing and worth it (5pts) ! Room Hermes Room 2nd floor space is limited, however has good distribution for you to stow away your bags/belongings. The bathroom of Hermes room is a bit small to be...
The most perfect hotel. A little space of heaven :) We were met by the sweetest host and right away she offered us fresh lemonade in the burning heat of August. Its location is close to every sight in the city center. And you’ve got Akropolis just out the window. And the breakfast is undescribable, fresh and newly cooked. We Will surely be back.
Our stay was absolutely perfect. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We loved the food, and the service was top-notch. Great views of the Acropolis and a perfect neighborhood. Super close to the metro and walkable to nearly everything. Honestly, we can't recommend this place enough.
Great spot for a hotel, near pretty much everything a tourist might want to see and do. Staff was very friendly and helped us with some issues in the room. The view of the acropolis from our room was incredible. The restaurant on the top floor shares the same view, and is decent.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Thissio. The staff immediately made us feel like they we were family. Special thanks to Terry for the wonderful communication and help with arranging our transport from the airport and to our cruise port. His service is truly unmatched. The rooms were comfortable and the views were incredible. After touring around Athens for 4 days we all agreed the location was unbeatable...
Pleasant Stay Service was excellent. A very charming hotel and friendly staff. Beautiful view of the Acropolis from the balcony. In a nice area that isn't as touristy.

I stayed at Phidias( for a second time) from 17-19 March 2025.I have to admit that I had a very pleasant stay. First of all, the location is perfect. You are at the centre of Athens and you can see plenty of the archeological treasure of Greece, just by walk. Also you are just a few metres away from Monastiraki market and many restaurants. Second, the hotel is clean, and the breakfast unexpectedly good...
Phidias Hotel is a fantastic choice in the heart of Athens! Great location, friendly staff, and clean, comfortable small rooms. Perfect for exploring the city!
Great hotel to stay, in an awesome location.
The location is great, it's 5 minutes walk from the old city, and outside of the hotel there are many restaurants and bars. The wifi at the hotel is very good, and the breakfast have limited options and you need to pay for cappuccino. When we booked the room we got a message that we got upgrade to a bigger room for free, but in fact we got a very simple room. The staff at the hotel doesn't help with...
Really good located dead in the center of Athens. 5 minutes to the agora and 15 to the Acropolis. Rooms were clean, quiet during the night despite being in the center. Breakfast was good, enjoyed it. Only downside would be the pillows which were really old. Would stay again when in Athens.
Good location, clean rooms. Tasty Breakfast, too.

We stayed at the Hera Hotel for 3 nights before we boarded a cruise ship and everything was great. The room met our needs and was very clean and comfortable. The staff was OUTSTANDING! We interacted with Elina, Dionisis, Diumtris, George and Lefteris at the front desk and they went above and beyond to help us as one of our member of our party had flight cancelation and delay issues. The team at...
This is a traditional hotel. Although the facilities are relatively old, they are complete and clean. The view outside the window is also very good. My room can see the Acropolis. The service staff is friendly and there are many types of breakfast food. The most added point is the convenient location. It is only a few minutes walk to the subway station and the New Acropolis Museum, and there are many...
We stayed at Hotel Hera in early May 2025. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location for exploring Athens. Only drawback was our small standard room was worn, and in need of an update.
Perfect location to visit the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. We stayed two nights pre- cruise. Walking distance was just right to Acropolis and I use a cane and am 67. Rooftop restaurant with views of Acropolis a highlight of trip! Small, romantic, modern, clean, reasonable and delicious. What more could you ask for? We had a leisurely dinner and saw Acropolis light up after dark. Other restaurants...
I was disappointed that the roof terrace was closed when we stayed as this was why we booked the hotel. It was so I could have my birthday dinner with the view. However, the hotel had a lovely art deco style, comfortable beds, very kind and pleasant staff, a lovely place to stay.
Great location to the main eating areas and the Acropolis. If you have an extended stay, there is a laundromat across the road which comes in handy. Hotel provides complimentary Greek treats during the evening. The breakfast option is not spectacular but filling enough to get you started for exploring this great city.

"An absolute gem in Athens! The location is perfect—you are minutes away from the historic center, yet completely avoiding the usual city-center congestion. The hotel has been recently renovated and it shows; the design is sleek and modern. We stayed in one of the ergonomic suites, and the attention to detail was impressive. The bed was arguably the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, and the bathroom...
The breakfast is lovely and rich. The hotel staff are very kind and helpful, and we were happy with the garage parking option for our car. The location is perfect for visiting the sites and urban areas such as Plaka. One of the best things was though that check-out is at 12:00 so you can seize the day and visit either Plaka, the Acropolis museum or the Arcropolis (as all these need about 2 hours) or...
B4B Athens Signature Hotel nails the boutique sweet spot in Athens’ buzzing core—clean lines, plush beds, and that quirky bathroom split (sink in-room, shower/toilet partitioned) which sparks more laughs than complaints among couples or friends sharing space. Central near Fix metro and a stroll to Acropolis/Plaka, it delivers value without the flash, backed by staff who treat you like a VIP, from breakfast...
Really lovely hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We had a great room with a beautiful view of the Acropolis. The rooftop restaurant is fantastic and also offers an amazing Acropolis view. Breakfast was excellent as well. Highly recommended!
Had a stay here as part of a Secret Escapes holiday, of all the Hotels we had this was the best, a warm welcome as you arrive, hotel is a great location only a 10 to 15 mins walk into town. Good service and location.. Value for money
Good location. Good value for money. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot of light spots. Personal safe could be a useful addition. Some maintenance stupid but annoying issues like a toilet seat not properly installed. Overall good value for the money.
The counter service is in place, the location is convenient, and it is close to the subway station! !
The staff are amazing, the cleaner will eventually ignore the do not disturb sign, be careful where you step in the near vicinity of the hotel, drug users about. If you want local food for breakfast head left out of the hotel then left again, a little ways up is a great cafe.
Nice hotel. Stayed for 3 days. Good staff. Close to a lot of halal food places. Walking distance from Omonia Sq (5mins) and 20mins walk from Syntagma Sq.
The room was average, a little small. Good service and correct attention. What we didn't like is that even though we considered the location to be quite central, all the surrounding areas were plagued by drug *******, a very serious problem that they suffer in Athens as you move away from the central tourist areas.

I highly recommend this hotel. It’s centrally located in Athens, within walking distance to all major attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and a convenience store nearby. The rooftop bar is fantastic, making it a great choice for solo travelers or couples. Less than 5 mins walk to train station
Location and staff are great! Church bells make some noise at odd hours, also pretty loud from the street. Could not figure out how to make the aircondition work, and the elevator is shared with the rooftop restaurant so sometimes theres a wait.
It's a hotel with a rooftop. It's in a busy alley, so the location is good, the bed is spacious, and the view is open, so it's good. There's an extra lock when going to the hallway on each floor. It overlaps with the rooftop, so it might be a little noisy, but overall, I'm satisfied!
Room was clean and location was absolutely  convenience .  Heater doesn’t work for two days and. I one offer the portable heater . The so called Manager offer me heater the third day . The gave me late check out and offer me complimentary breakfast but when I went to have my BF second day , the manager Katrina came up and harassed me in front of other customers and forced me to pay for breakfast ....
The hotel is in a great location, the room design is novel and stylish, and it is very cost-effective. The front desk staff is very friendly, and a beautiful girl helped us solve the air conditioning problem. The rooftop restaurant is very beautiful and you can see the Acropolis.
Ants were found everywhere in the room.

The location is perfect and the staff is quite nice! You can save luggage at the hotel as well!
You stay here for the location, not the frills and luxury. Rooms are basic equipped, good beds and pillows, nothing too fancy. But the location is absolutely incredible. We only took a taxi twice to go to the beach, otherwise everything was a 30 min walk.
The room is very clean, and check in was fuss free and easy. The aircon starts leaking one of the night we stayed in, however the staff solved it the next day . I love the location, it being in a shopping resort area, about 15 mins drive away from old town. Highly recommended.
Returned to NLH after our cruise. 2nd stay even better than 1st stay a week earlier. The room is bright, modern, and clean. Staff are very nice and helpful. Some noise from the street, as expected from such a central location, but nothing that will stop us from staying there again next time we are in the area.
Hotel is in a central location where you can walk every where. The rooms are clean. However if your room is in the back of the hotel be prepared for a loud disco sound all night long.
Everything was nice and clean . Position perfect, rooms spotless.

Affordable Option Location is ideal, walkable to sights and dining. Our room specifically had a sewage stench coming from the bathroom and shower. Towels smelled moldy. Unfortunately we found and were bitten by a bed bug on the second night of the stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Noma hotel, the staff were very helpful and the room was modern and clean. This is the best hotel in Plaka and is conveniently located in the heart of all the action. The bed was so comfortable and the rooms are of decent size. Clean and comfortable hotel with a stunning sea view. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was simple but satisfying. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for anyone staying near Alimos
We recently stayed at Tropical Hotel and had a wonderful experience overall. Compared to many other places we visited in Athens, Santorini, and Crete, this hotel truly stands out as modern, comfortable, and well-designed. It feels like a proper hotel rather than a collection of apartments converted into rooms. The rooms were spotless and fresh, with a real bed, a fully functioning, well-designed bathroom...

Not renovated, pool tiny not on the roof. Careful not to checkin before 3 pm they will not allow you any earlier, no where to stay for those waiting hours.
Enjoyed my time as I explored Greece! The Junior Suite it well worth the price!

It's not the most glamorous setting, that's for sure, but the place is spotless, the rooms large and very comfortable and the staff nice and friendly. It may lack character, but it does what is supposed to do very well, to provide a good rest after a day out.
The hotel is not bad, but there is nothing to highlight. Positive: People at the reception were very kind and nice. Rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast is good and I had a sandwich club at the room service and it was ok Negative: Hot water doesn't work very well, I asked for the shirts folder and they came in a hanger (not a big drama), poor minibar for food (a chocolate or something like that)
Good location. A bit pricey. Outdated rooms
New year's all-you-can-eat brunch on the 5th floor. Great food, great service, great view of Athens. Great!
Good standard. Free minibar (!) refilled every day. Gym decent. Food, well, low average. No pool (in brosure it says it is 1km away from hotel - not true). Fancy colorful lights in windows. Nice room. Hydromassage bathtube (not very special). Nice, full equipment in bathroom: gels, shaving kit, dental kit, etc.
Nice rooms, nice location. Three Malls and two metro stations are in walking distance (5-20min). Prices for dinner are 1,5-2 times higher than in the city. The minibar in the room was free entire stay.

Great customer service. Amazing breakfast. Unique view of the Aegean. Nice location to walk to train station, or for a stroll at Pasalimani area. Located next to a grocery store. Safe to walk around. The building is old but gives a vintage character. The only thing is that for sure could be much cleaner.
The hotel is old, I changed several rooms, all except the rooms with a sea view have a stale smell of old age, breakfasts are like Groundhog Day every day, the same thing, they don't even change the omelette to fried eggs. The only plus is the first line and if the room has a sea view, the view is amazing, especially sunsets and sunrises
Excellent location, great sea view hotel, you can enjoy the view from the balcony. The hotel and facilities are old and the breakfast is average.
The address is very good. It's on the edge of the port and very close to the seaside. It's very comfortable to take a walk and drink coffee. You can see the life of the locals and stay away from the bustling urban area.
