We went there as is was in the market direct super good location Food Looked good Nice décoration but DO NOT Go there with a Child as soon as the out son touched the decoration on the floor he came and started yelling with no reason as not delicate at all at a 2 year old. Food was good no complaintes on that side but he was so agressive I almost left before being served. We stayed it was a mistake. Only he could check in the bill and was super agressive about it. So theoretically perfect place to go to but A hole boss. Do NOT Go!!!!!

The menu is very misleading!!!! And the women who served us made it even MORE misleading. On purpose. Basically it’s a con tricksters! She started by showing us a menu with a plate with 2 chicken skewers as the photo but when the food arrived it had 1 chicken skewer. We queried the number of skewers and said the photo showed 2 but there’s only 1, she then went and got a menu but went to a back page and showed us the photo with 1 skewer! She then proceeded to tell us ‘see! See! I know my job’ when she walked away we went and got the menu and SURE ENOUGH the menu has 2 pages for the same meal!!!! One of the photos shows 2 chicken skewers! 1 shows 1 chicken skewer! This place looks quirky and hipster but it’s anything but!!!! They are total scam artists but instead of being clever it’s like using some trick from 100 years ago! Don’t go!!! It’s not worth it! Why support such dishonest people?! There is no need for that behaviour as there are millions of other places to eat or stay that are much nicer!

Looks all hippyish but that's only so they don't have to clean the tables. They are not hippies they are scam artists. Went to the Chania market today wanted some socks they all wanted to scam me for socks typically these people are insane anything to try make an extra 50c or €1. Then after getting a few vegetables stopped at this place big mistake. Luckily I had eaten breakfast because they only served half of my meal. Stay away from here stay away from Crete stay away from Greece they do not deserve your hard earned money.

Quirky place that looks really nice but the issue is the waitress and her dodgy menu!
If you eat here be sure to check the menu closely and when you receive the food as they will give you something cheaper than you ordered and then show another fake menu that you didn’t order from to try and prove that you ordered something else. All very confusing and unnecessary. Basically a scam! Beware.

After shopping in the market we stopped for a drink and wanted a souvlaki stick but after being showed the guarded menu and seeing 2 souvlaki sticks in a pita for just a few euros more I decided to order it but when the plate was put in front of me there was one souvlaki with toast we asked to see the menu and we never actually got to hold the menu ourselves we were shown a different meal and basically dismissed by the ignorant waiter or owner not really sure. After seeing where this precious guarded menu had been left I went to see the and there was indeed 2 different meals the one shown which is what I ordered and then the more basic one they serve all just to save or make an extra 2 euro yes really literally 2 euro. Take my advice don't just stay away from this establishment stay away from Greece don't waste your time your money or your holiday here especially Crete they are greedy selfish jealous ignorant people. Even the bible wrote this place off you should too.

If you enjoy getting a good night's sleep, this hotel is probably not for you. I don't think I've ever been in a hotel or an Airbnb in which the walls are so thin and the windows seal so poorly. We were in room #2, which has a window facing the street and one facing the inner courtyard of the hotel. In the street-facing room, you can hear literally every single car and bike going past - as well as on Saturdays when there's a street market, people arrived at 4:30am with a truck and began setting up right outside the hotel. This would normally not have been an issue... if the windows actually kept any level of noise out. A simple silicon sealant around the windows would probably have kept the majority of the noise out, but instead, I slept for a total of 3-4 hours over the course of 2 nights that we stayed there.

And the other room that faces inwards has walls which are probably made of paper - you could not only hear a pump of some kind going consistently through the night, but also every time the neighbours take a shower or use the loo. Quite 'loco' in my opinion.

The host was kind of friendly but it would have been great to be warned about these things on arrival (unless of course we're the only ones that faced this issue, which I'd be incredibly surprised to hear). Especially when from the first moment, we were told things that we need to do to make her life easier, like not bringing sand into the hotel (fair) and to be careful with things in the room as they are handmade (also fair). But why not tell us that it's so noisy so we could actually have done something about it, like get some earplugs or something? Also when we came back from our morning out in Chania at 2PM, the room hadn't been cleaned yet which meant that we were only able to rest for 25 minutes before they came and knocked on the door asking to clean, DESPITE us asking for an hour to get some rest (having slept for 1.5h the previous night).

The hotel itself is kinda cute, but not being able to sleep because you can hear either literally every car/bike going by, or people shouting at 5am in the morning on Saturday and moving furniture and equipment around is ridiculous (again, wouldn't have been an issue if the windows kept some noise out). Otherwise, the location is very nice in the old town of Chania, with lots of restaurants and the port/lighthouse area being very close by.

This was the worst hotel i have ever seen and where i have ever been. The rooms were terrible and the cuisine worse. This wasan’t neither clean nor funny. The food wasan’t good and the structure is bad, and the people who work there weren’t kind and he even wanted me to pay with money without card so he did’t made the receipt. Don’t go there.

Lovely little hotel. Right on the edge of the old city. Large rooms, had a nice sea vieuw. Nice roof terrace.
Good little swimming spot nearby where all the Greek oldies swim from some stairs just outside the gate

We didn’t stay but ate here. We stumbled upon this quirky, gem of an establishment while walking through Chania old town market. The street food was delicious, we had a mixture of kebabs, cooked by George on the street BBQ, accompanied with the most amazing, tasty salad. The cafe inside and out was buzzing while George, the chef held court. The decor inside is bright and welcoming with a rustic charm. Love it!

A small and friendly hotel. Lived in the top floor room, cool and very nice. A big terrace outside for every one belonging to the hotel with umbrellas, sunbeds, chairs and tables. Such a great view, and very cozy in the evening. The breakfast was nice too - both the Cretan and the yoghurt. Overall it was super to stay here, and everything is closed by.
