Location: 27 km from Heraklion airport, 2.5 km from the centre of Hersonissos, 300 m from the sea. A bus stop 30 metres from the hotel.
Evening entertainment: Hersonissos (2,5 km).
Consists of a main building (no rooms) and a separate 16 blocks.
The hotel has 283 rooms.
Beach: public, sandy, 150 m from the hotel, 1 line. The entrance to the sea sand. Via the highways, for the convenience of the underpass. Toilet on the beach, shower, changing cabins. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge.

Reviews
We were all inclusive and found the food at all meal times to be delicious, hot and fresh. It was also nice having the options of eating at the pool bar or other bars.
Our room was lovely - a family room, with air con, clean and spacious. It was located close to the newly revamped kids fun pool which our two couldn't get enough of! Our 8 year old also loved the big slides on the waterpark!
We all had an unforgettable weeks holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel!
After staying for a week with my 13 year old daughter we would definitely return. Our room and balcony were spacious and clean with the option of a safe and the gorgeous sea and mountain views were just lovely. There is also a handy small fridge in the room to keep drinks and tea and coffee making facilities.
There are a variety of pools to choose from, we always got a sun bed without issue. The pool with the slides was our favourite, we had hours of fun going on them.
Having stayed half board (which was perfect for us), I can’t believe how many options there were to choose from! You are honestly spoilt for choice, there is something there for everyone. The Lamb chops were the best I have ever tasted. The breakfasts were so brilliant and the desserts were out of this world!
The location of the hotel was also great for us, a supermarket 2 minutes walk away, bus stop literally right at the front of the hotel. There is also a free shuttle bus service to and from Stalis beach a 5 minute drive away. If wanting to travel into Hersonissos, you can get the bus right outside which takes about 10 minutes and is only 2 euros per person per way.
I feel we chose extremely well in choosing to stay at the Grand Hotel, it was everything we wanted and needed it to be for a perfect weeks stay during May half term!
I dont know where to begin with good words about my stay,about clean rooms,great facilities,kind people working at reception desk,in restaurant,animation team,cleaning ladies all made my stay more amazing and impressive

All in all, well worth a visit.
Also If you can book the quad bike safari. It was brilliant.
The hotel is great and the rooms are ok, Food is very good with great service especially Manolis in the main Restaurant.
Pools are good, we sat by the quite pool every day with beds free even if your late getting down.
The water slide area is fantastic with 4 normal slides and 1 you go down in on rubber rings.
Great views from the snack bar at the top of the complex and the food and drinks are good there too.
There's a shuttle bus that takes you to the beach which takes only 3mins and runs all day till 18:00.
The drinks in the main bar are very strong and the all inclusive stops at 22:30 which is a let down..
All in all a great place to stay, special thanks to Nina on reception, Manolis in the main Restaurant, and Konstantinos in the main bar.
